Blade manages to make Elton reason and go to talk to the King. In the meantime, he is taken to the hospital where Qi figures out his wounds are not healing the slightest and realizes It is a curse, starting to see what he can do about it.

Zhongli, when explained the situation, is not too surprised. He was hoping to keep Coco safe, but he had to leave the teapot. He ponders what to do and decides a plan with the others.
Zhongli shows them where Ash is and with their help, they manage to comunicate with Verfall for a time and a place.

The meeting is outside the walls, near the old lake.

He has heard lots of complaints about what has been going on in Xianyun's residence, so he decides to go to have a look, also in hope to find Ash. He doesn't expect to find himself in the middle of a second party.

He hoped they'd be able to save more, but unfortunately only few were still alive. He takes them back to Guyun, directly to the hospital to get them visited, fed and given a bed. He insists with the healers and doctors he wants them all to be saved.
Done with that and still pretty much covered in blood, he starts to organize things with the guards to capture all the culprits from Zae. And then even begins to look around for a proper place for the Aoichi to live in peace and freedom in Guyun. As for Aventurine, he has him locked in a residence of the palace, properly guarded.
Long days where he doesn't even find the time to go back to sleep until the situation settles a little. He can either go to his residence or pay a visit to Aventurine.

Their investigations are not going anywhere. He'd like to focus on more pleasant matters, like the exploration team, but he can't give up to the idea It was all just a natural disaster. It happened while he wasn't present, he fears someone within the palace is guilty. Of course he doesn't give for granted Verfall is innocent, but there is nothing seeming to point him to the accident. Guards at the gate didn't report of him among the people who left the walls, ever since he arrived to Guyun.
Anyhow, he decides to return to the place of the accident to investigate again, find tracks they ignored before.
He returns to the city when done there, keeping a low profile.

After enjoying his time in the new place, he has to get back to work. And done with his duties, as they agreed the day before, he prepares and goes to meet Chan to go to investigate those places. He also started reading some books from the library of the new house to see if there is any interesting intel from the past.
