As they got further away Roland stirred, waking up with a start. He sat up and almost immediately fell off of the animal but quickly rolled back to his feet though he winced at having jostled his broken wing. "Quis es?" He hissed the question in his native tongue, his teeth bared in snarl as he backed away and looked around. So far as he could tell they were alone. And it took him a moment to realize he was talking to an unintelligent animal. A lesser evolved species.

Roland fell quiet and looked down at his hands still bound by silver cuffs. He glanced over his shoulder at his wings, tied neatly to his back. It hurt but he said nothing of it as closed his eyes for a moment. It was bright out. He'd been in the dark for so long. The daylight was proving to be a bit uncomfortable for him now. But when he looked up, and saw the sky for the first time since he'd been locked away. . . He started in awe like a child at a zoo gawking at animals. A smile lit up Roland's face and he immediately went to climb a tree. It was fairly difficult and he couldn't quite pull himself to the higher branches with his hands tied but he got a few feet off the ground. And it honestly thrilled him. He grinned. Oh how badly he wished he could fly. . .

Vinn rolled his eyes, a dark disinterested and overall very angry expression falling upon his aging features. He stepped out of the way of the falling rubble as if it were merely a chore to do so and then watched as his underling attempted to fend off the dragon. By by no means was he impressed. In fact, It only irritated him further. His auction House had been destroyed, several of the slaves he had planned to sell were dead and the crowd had gathered, is paying customers were fleeing. He heaved a sigh and tapped his Cane on the ground the sound echoing above the din of the chaos. All it took was a look. A single glance and whomever he wished would fall. For his ability was to manipulate the brain functionality of those he so wished. And if you desired not only could he put them to sleep but instead render them entirely brain dead. A living body with a lifeless soul. So icy step forward those who have yet to run made a path for him allowing him to pass and trying to keep a distance between the demon in themselves. Vinn then looked up at the dragon his Amber eyes cold as ice. And he watched as the dragon fell, limp and lifeless and it's sleep. Though he preserved it's brain, keeping it alive and ordered the guards to do away with it. You wouldn't tolerate such things to happen in his presence. After he'd given the order he cast an irritated look towards Jordy and then walked away, "Bring him back to me or you'll be the slave." He called over his shoulder

Roland jumped, startled when he saw the creature was different. And it spoke. It was more evolved than he had thought. And he didn't want to be near it. He wanted to find his tribe. His people. And warn them. The demon had gotten stronger. They couldn't just sit idly. They had to fight. Or they'd die. So he had to get to them. He had to get away from this creature and fine his tribe.

The male's words made very little sense to him. The foreign language not yet one he understood. So when he spoke Roland watched him, confused for but a moment before he jumped down from the tree and took a cautious step back. Slowly recognizing the person before him. This was the one who had slit his throat on the stage. Again Roland bared his teeth. A silent threat.

Roland watched with narrowed eyes though he huffed and tilted his head to one side curiously when the male held on it the feather. He thought it was a weird thing to do and wondered if he was expected to do the same. He wasn't going to. It served him no purpose.

Nor would he ride on the male's back. Again a custom he didn't wish to partake in. But his hostility ebbed and his expression while one of distrust dulled to be less threatening. He blinked and waited silently. Speech was pointless since they didn't understand one another. He stayed out not moving closer nor further away. Just maybe this creature could help him. Roland doubted it. And he was ready to run if the male made a move against him. But for now. He just stood there. Waiting.

After a moment he stepped forward. Mimicking kris's movement as he lifted his hands and pointed in the same direction. And when the male nodded looked forward then glanced around and began walking. Though he didn't wait for the shifter. He just went ahead and kept casting glances over his shoulder. Watching Kris and ensuring that he wasn't too close. He didn't want to be near the male. Or any others for that matter. Though he found that he didn't exactly want to be alone either. Angel are social creatures. They nest close to one another and spend their days with their tribe, their nights curled up with their families in the tree tops. So he didn't entirely mind knowing there was somebody behind him. So long as the shifter didn't get too close.

(I'd rather if Roland was the only angel for now but maybe later on in the rp.)
