The past few days have been quite tough for him. Ever since he took the key from where Zhongli hid it, he has been feeling awful. He is not the kind of person who can commit crimes, clearly.
He is nervous and panicked, fearing that Zhongli will notice the key went missing. He also worries that he will be caught as the thief and since he is a kid, he totally believes he could even end up in jail for such a thing. Again!!

He doesn't even know why he took the key, why he was so obsessed towards it until he found it. There is no special meaning, in truth, it's simply that the key was part of the last mission he was working on when he died, in his previous life. An unfinished business, simply.
But ever since he took it, he only has been wishing that he has never touched it.
Getting inside the teapot, the day he went to take it, was all a matter of favourable circumstances. The servants were busy, Cyno was outside with Yang… and he had the chance to sneak there without being noticed. But the same circumstances have not been repeating. The backyard is off limit to the kids, due to the portal, Yang is always on the couch and he would never ignore if WooPil went into the teapot. Cyno or Chan are also always around, unless they are at lesson.

He keeps feeling more frustrated and nervous, trying to think about some alternative ways to return the key to Zhongli without being discovered for his little thievery.
At the moment, he is sat on a chair near the teapot, anxious and totally on edge.

He hides the fact he keeps crying for his fox toy, as he doesn't want to ruin the mood for Zhongli's upcoming birthday, but it's kinda evident. Like the fact he is up to something, as he has been busy in all sort of things ever since the day after Christmas. He really think that he is managing to keep the party a secret, but the same way as he tried to keep secret the fact he ate two different kinds of spam the same evening. He is still too little to be effective at that.

While Chan is out, he heads to the kitchen to discuss a few things with the cooks and when it comes to the cake… he is actually pointed to Elton. There really are many people in the palace who genuinely believe that he is a baker who was hired by the King, since they saw him buy ingredients at the market and they know he prepared the panettones.
So, WooPil decides to go to speak with Elton about the cake for Zhongli's birthday. He goes alone, only followed by Mela. Despite being overall shy, he feels a little more confident than usual, with Elton.

The "baker" is actually very nice and agrees to every idea and request WooPil has about the cake, never looking bothered or trying to impose a different plan. Elton even asks him to draw a sketch to know exactly what he wants the cake to look like.
When done talking with Elton, WooPil remains outside the residence — but always inside the palace — walking by himself in the snow.
He stops by one of the garden structure and sits on a stair, playing with snow.

On the Christmas morning, he wakes up earlier than usual, too excited and thrilled for the upcoming day to stay in bed even one minute longer.
He dresses up by himself, indeed wearing his old Earth clothes and choosing a red sweater for the day, before heading out of the bedroom, careful not to wake anyone.

As he enters the living room of the residence, he glances at his tree (all the children's trees were placed away from each others to avoid confusion with the gifts) and notices that there are many gifts underneath. He is not used to see those many, in the previous years it was just himself and Chan to celebrate it, so there usually was just one gift.
He approaches to give a closer look at the piles of packages and his gaze is caught by something particular: a cor lapis in the shape of the Geo symbol (he doesn't know what the material is), on top of a specific tower of packages, which are wrapped in gold coloured silk cloths. He takes the mysterious item and looks at it with wide eyes, then glances at the gifts and at his vision. He immediately makes an assumption about the meaning of that.

Instead of opening the gifts right away, he sits down by the tree, with his fluffy tail wrapped around his body, waiting for Zhongli to come and give permission to open the gifts first.

Of course, as soon as LeYang arrives, he rushes to his tree and starts to open all the gifts without even noticing that he too has a mysterious pile of packages wrapped differently and with a geo gem on top. There is one by Chao's tree too.

When receiving confirmation that he can open the gifts, WooPil is shocked to find out that the strange packages contain (3 per each kid) all the toys that he had initially chosen and taken with him, at the toy store, but that he eventually decided to put back when he saw one that he found more of his liking, until his final choice fell on the fox plush. This, naturally, enforces his theory even further.

The day proceeds happily, with lots of food and the family gathered together to enjoy some quality time. Chan, Cyno and the children with Zhongli.
Jing Yuan with his own family.
Blade, HaiTien and WonPil with LianSul and SulBang.
Elton… with alcohol and drugs until he would start to see his father and siblings to have a meal he cooked with them.

The next morning after being shown the new brothers, he wakes up earlier than usual, alone in Zhongli's bed. He doesn't know that his dad went to a journey yet, but he already feels very down because of the new kids.

He quickly wears some clothes, without anyone's help, so his robe is punctually upside down, then also wears his thick coat and hat and scarf, before going outside the residence, all by himself except from his golem, who follows him everywhere.
He knows he should go to the kitchen to give Zhongli's gift to the cooks, but doesn't feel like to go there right away. He strangely doesn't even feel hungry.

After walking for some time, he goes to climb on one of the chair by the tables in one of the gardens, despite it's snowing and it's all covered in snow all around.

When he wakes up, he is surprised to find himself in a different place from where he fell asleep, but this kind of phenomena are common, so he doesn't really get worried about them anymore. XD
Though, he can't help but feel a strange sense of familiarity with that place. He looks around and somewhat… explores the whole apartment.
When he is done, he suddenly feels the urge to go to the apartment in the front. But of course he can't open the entrance door by himself, even if he managed to climb on something, that one is quite heavy and tough to open for a child so small.

Unfortunately, while he looking up at the door, as if thinking what to do to open it, WonPil arrives and guesses the kid wants to go outside. So he actually opens the door, but follows him closely. Not dumb enough to let a little boy go on his own.
Woopino heads straight to the door in front of that of Lani's apartment and looks up at the screen to write the password to unlock the door.
«What is it? You wanna go there? Uhm…» WonPil looks around and knocks a few times, but nobody answers, so he guesses that the place is empty indeed. «We shouldn't do that, though, you know…» He tries to press some random numbers on the device, but nothing happens. «See? It's locked.»
«I… I know how…» He extends his arms towards WonPil, as to be picked up and the guy does.
To which, Woopino slowly pressed the numbers, one at a time, thinking about it each time. He can't read numbers, but his powers help him to write the right password nonetheless, by just "pointing" in his mind, the right icon to touch. And the door unlocks for real.
«Woh… are you a little prodigy thief?» He perks inside the apartment, that is all dark. «No one's going to get hurt if we go to take a look…» And walks inside, followed by Woopino, who starts to search all over the place like a hound, not even he knowing what he is looking for or why he feels so drawn to this place.

Though, WooPil feels incredibly sad in there, he even starts to cry when he enters the main bedroom and remains there.
