혼자 집에

He gets bored to be home alone, after Qi and Oliver left in such a hurry, so he decides to go out and take a look. He is not easily scared and feels quite curious to see this new place. He didn't even understand yet that magic is actually real here.

For his luck, it's that brief period between Autumn I and Winter I when the climate of Heinhoss is extraordinarily mild, without blizzards or storm and with a temperature still close to 0 but not below.
He wears the jacket from his military uniform, since he realises that the t-shirt alone is a bit hardcore in that weather.
He gets out and walks for a while, until he reaches some shops, with their windows all lit by candles and with weird stuff exposed.

샤워

After dinner, he asks for permission to Lani if he can still go to wash, despite he was already allowed to, multiple times. He receives some clothes that XinLan literally never wore: a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. XinLan would never wear pants that go under his thigh or tops with any form of sleeves.

WonPil spends a long time in the bathroom, but not because he actually takes a long bath. While he can perfectly understand what the stuff in there is for, he has never been in such a luxurious bathroom in his life. Even at the base they could only wash with cold water.
Since he would hate to abuse of their hospitality, he decides to take a quick shower. What takes him a really long time is the absence of old-school soap. There is anything, from bath bombs to shower gel and reading, plus figuring out, what is what, takes him time. He is dyslexic and very ignorant, plus rather slow.

When his strategy is made, with what he plans to use to clean his body and the order, he finally takes the shower. Quick, but it's mind-blowingly pleasant, like the dinner. He literally didn't know the touch of warm water on his skin, let alone the intense fragrance of the gel. That he uses on his whole body, hair included. He did not figure out shampoo yet.
It's enough to clean his hair from what was left of that disgusting ink he used to dye it black. In the North, he couldn't afford the risk of walking around in green hair, it's something that tormented him even since he was little and had to get creative ways to hide it, starting from making himself bald, when he was little.

He walks out of the bathroom, with blond, messy and still wet hair, looking like on profile picture.

사랑의 불시착

Less than one minute before the explosion of the plane - that he deliberately caused, in order to fake his death and avoid both sides to hunt him down - he flees the craft and parachutes into the night. He makes sure to direct himself towards the sea, as he flew as close as possible to the coast, while also leaving the plane pointed towards the inland.

A suicidal plan under many points of view, if it wasn't for luck, blatantly being on his side.
After spending a long time in the air, as he starts to lose altitude, he spots a large wooden plank that would seem ideal for a raft. At least, better than jumping into the ocean at night, with a whole parachute landing together with you. www.roleplay.me/photo/3428967
WonPil lands even too gently on it and has the time to get rid of the "backpack" part of the parachute and throw it away into the water, before it could cover the raft.
Case wants that on that same raft lied some trash, among which a small vase of yogurt. Hence why his name: Crash Landing on Yogurt.

He sits down on the raft and checks what the yogurt is. Realising it's for eating, he actually does, why would he leave it there. He doesn't even know what expiration date means.
The raft is moving on its own, gently carried by the waves towards the coast.
WonPil can't take a nap there, but at least tries to relax while on his journey to reach the shores.

He remembers to take off his military uniform and change into the only outfit he brought with him. He should probably throw the uniform in the sea, but instead, he stuffs it into one of his two backpacks. He didn't have the chance to take much with him, some canned food and mostly weapons and ammunition. A good North Korean knows his priories.
It takes a couple of hours and the sun hasn't even risen yet, when the raft gets close enough to the beach for WonPil to safely step off of it and proceed on the sand.

There is nobody on sight and it's a luck. He really knows nothing about South Korea, beside the lies that he was fed with for his whole life.
He starts to wander aimlessly, only making sure not to head north. If there is something he knows for sure is that he has to put as much distance as possible from the border, the fastest he can. He is slow, though. His wound still hurts him badly and all the action he had to make to get on that plane and leave the country had its toll.
He is exhausted, weakened, but he has no choice but to proceed.

The sun is starting to rise when he finally reaches a small, rural village. From the outside, it wouldn't even look so different from a north Korean one, if it wasn't that there are many parked cars and street lamps all lit. He actually has to stop for a moment to admire the sight, in awe. Even if he is standing on a Korean version of Vestea, it still amazes him in some ways. He has never even been to Pyongyang, he left many years earlier compared to the other WonPil.

While hesitantly walking through the sleeping village, he checks all the cars he comes across, to find one he deems safe enough to steal. Many of the vehicles he comes across are foreigner and actually very modern. He is aware that more modern cars are harder to steal and are full of security measures, he heard a lot of stuff from other people in the north.
After some time, he finally finds the perfect one, the princess: www.roleplay.me/photo/3428971.
The owner - if it has one - didn't even bother to lock it, making things even easier for WonPil.
He throws the backpack with weapons on the back seats - always keeping one gun on him at all times - and starts to tamper with the circuits to turn it on.
Being still on his luck spree, the car starts quickly and it even has plenty of petrol.

WonPil hurries to drive away from the village. He doesn't know where he is going, for now he just wants to go far away from the border. He takes any random road to proceed south, until he reaches a very uninhabited area, by a wood, where he decides to take a nap. He literally passes out from exhaustion, barely a couple of minutes after turning the car off.
When he finally wakes up, it's evening again. He slept almost an entire day, but he can't tell for sure how many hours.
He starts the car and gets back on the street without waiting further. He wasted even too much time there.
He is relatively close to the highway, so he soon enough gets on it.

He drives for approximately one hour, then he decides to stop again. By the parking area of a rest stop. He can feel that the wound on his back is bleeding again and he doesn't have any medical kit, bandages or the sort. He takes his backpack and walks out of the car. He looks all around to make sure nobody is paying attention to him, then he walks into the restrooms - the ones outside the convenience store. He hides in a stall and hastily refreshes his bandages by wrapping toilet paper around his body, that he secures with average tape that he had with him.

Done with that pitiful attempt of a bandage, WonPil leaves the stall and approaches the sink, where he washes his face and hands with the cold water. He doesn't look great, but neither dying.
The rest stop is about an hour outside of Seoul.
WonPil is wearing a tank top, with an unbuttoned sweater and old man's pants. He looks like a mix of a gypsy of the fairs with a poor grandpa from countryside.
His hair is a mess, the ink he uses to dye it black has almost vanished, leaving a stained texture of brownish, blondish and black.

조선민주주의인민공화국.

Lee WonPil started his enlistment a few months prior, just like it goes for every other guy of his age, in their country.
Trying to escape from it would be pointless; his whole future would be compromised if he didn't do it. He would become even more of a reject and his starting situation isn't good.
Not that Lieutenant Cho Chul Gang would leave him the privilege of choosing, even if he had been willing to accept the social stigma from avoiding the military.

WonPil successfully finished the basic training in the army and made request to join the air force, to proceed there. Request that was approved by the higher ups, but not by Lieutenant Cho Chul Gang, whom wanted him to continue where he started. The man would have no use for a pilot, plus he'd have little to no influence there. He wouldn't be able to use WonPil for his whims, as he always did.
And that's exactly why WonPil sent the request without consulting the man, but aware that it wouldn't be long before he'd find out.

WonPil was expecting a visit from Chul Gang and he would have no way to escape it. And in truth, he had no idea how it would end for him, but he assumed that there would be no way to get out of it unharmed, knowing the man.
Maybe he counted too much on the idea that the other would not dare to go too far, while in the premises of the air force base.
Foolish of him. WonPil is nothing, Cho Chul Gang is an officer.

After a long day of training, less than three weeks since he was moved to the base, WonPil is walking out of the bathrooms. His hair is still wet from the shower, of a much lighter shade of black compared to that morning. He has another day at most, then he better find some ink.
He is walking towards the dormitory, when an officer reaches him in the dark yard.
WonPil stops walking and salutes instantly.
«Cadet Lee WonPil, head to the storage right now.»
«Ye, algesseumnida!» Shibal, he is here - he thinks.
He hurries to the designated location, with all the fake determination he can show. He is going to be beaten up to death, in the best scenario, he can't be enthusiastic enough.
He stops in front of the semi open room of the deposit, takes a deep breath and finally walks inside. There is only one person in there and even in the darkness, WonPil can recognize the shape of Cho Chul Gang. He feels the man's eyes on him as soon as he steps inside, which cause him a shiver down the spine. He has barely healed from their last meeting and the beat up that occurred in that occasion.

What started of as a one side growling and hitting, soon enough escalates in a fierce argument. WonPil has no intention to leave the air force and will stand for his decision.
After stating his point, WonPil turns around and starts to walk away, ignoring the insults and roars of Chul Gang. As he is by the door, though, a thunder echoes all over the deposit. He instinctively crouches, but it's late. A second later, while his ears adjust after the noise, he is pervaded by the burning feeling coming from his back.
Without thinking twice, WonPil leaps out of the storage and runs, as fast as he can, to hide somewhere. He got shot, but he is still alive and wants to make sure it stays that way.

The pain blinds him and clouds his mind. What does he do now? Where can he go?
At the nursery they'd ask him what happened and he knows how easy it would be for Chul Gang to turn the situation to his own advantage and just get WonPil blamed. He doesn't want to end his days as a slave in a coal mine.
Hidden inside an hangar, he tries to tampon the wound to at least slow down the bleeding, but it's hard. He doesn't have anything there and the wound is on his back, bleeding copiously.

He waits for as long as he can but eventually is forced to leave his hideout and reach the nursery. There is nobody there and the room is locked, so he has to picklock the door to get in.
WonPil is by no mean a medical expert, but he had to tend to plenty of wounds on himself, during his life. This is different, though, and he knows. Being shot isn't like being stabbed, he has the bullet inside and the wound isn't as clean.
He tries to do his best to clean and disinfect the wound on his own, having no better option. He gives himself a bandaging and hurries to leave the nursery before someone could catch him.

He returns to the dormitory and tries to take some rest, but the pain is unbearable and he couldn't steal painkillers from the nursery. He has no choice but to bear with it until it passes.
The next morning, they are called for their daily training and WonPil has to go. He can't take days off or miss it without a valid reason.
He underperforms and suffers for the entire time, but nobody allows him to take a rest or wonders if he has something wrong.

If things weren't bad enough, that same day WonPil is notified by the officers that they decided to transfer him back to the army. Reason? They "suddenly" realised he is not fitting for the air force. And not because he underperformed that day, he knows that Cho Chul Gang must have found a way to make it happen. After all, there are so many people in his "blackmail list", WonPil knows well how that man reached his position.

WonPil would have to leave the base in two days. Get right back into Chul Gang's hands, where he knows for sure he won't have a long life. He doesn't want to do what that awful man orders him and he has already gotten the most clear proof that his life counts nothing for the other. He is just a tool.
