Dinner.

Ashiiha suggests that the younger demigods should be given some quiet time to metabolise all the new information and experiences before starting to train.
After they return to the world, he isn't very at ease to head to the palace with the new guys, since the place is not his own and he shouldn't just invite anyone there.
He is thinking to give them his old house in Lianxi, where they can sleep and live when they are not training. A very romantic setting for Ziqun and his lil bro.

Anyhow, for now he takes the others to have dinner by the stands in Lianxi, before to show them the house.
They walked all the way there from Guiji and went through the portals, so anyone could have joined.

After he wakes up, he has a brief conversation with Lani, just to hear if he learnt anything new, then goes to find WooPil.
He retrieves the tiny boy and since they failed to push Lani into involving himself further into the matter, they are supposed to leave his house.

Chan personally escorts tiny WooPil back to his residence and then his bedroom, where he decides to stay. He doesn't intend to leave him alone, especially with the possibility of a threat after him.
He places WooPil on the small table next to the bed and looks at him. «You are going to need a tiny bed for when this happened. I am not sure the big bed is safe enough.»
«Ani, I don't need… I will return back to normal real soon… I just want to be like this for a little while…» He sighs and sits down on his phone
«Arasseo. Then… let's see…» Chan takes a little packet of peanuts out of his pocket. «How about this?» He hands WooPil one peanut, that is pretty big for his size.
«Omo…! Gomawo, hyung…!» He takes the peanut and studies it for a bit, to figure out how to eat it. «By the way…» He looks down, ignoring the peanut while saying that. «Can I sleep with you, tonight, hyung…?» he asks in a low and shy voice.
Chan makes a slight smile. «Of course. Do you want me to come to sleep in your room?»
WooPil nods and since the other accepted, he returns to eat the peanut.

«Anyhow, WooPil. If you want to stay in that size for some time, that will be all right. I will help you to handle things, you don't have to worry about anything.»
«I can't go to lessons like this… and i don't want to skip them, I don't want granny to be annoyed…»
«You can go to lectures even when you are tiny. As long as I, or Cyno and ZhongLi, will come with you. Maybe your grandmother would teach you how to control this power even better and you won't risk to end up stuck in it when you don't want to.»
«I… am not sure…» WooPil mumbles, biting his lip.
«For now, let's not think about it. When you feel like to get bigger, we can play Honkai together, what do you think?» He smiles.
«Ne!!» He smiles too.

After a bit, he and WooPil move to the living room to wait for dinner. Some fuss starts to be heard from the bedrooms, involving Cyno.
Chan leaves WooPil on the short table, intending to go have a look, but before he could leave the room, a completely unknown guy walks in. The mysterious person, in full black, is dragging Cyno with him, roughly holding him by wrist.
There is a moment of glare between Chan and the intruder, but then he lifts his hand and WooPil ends up locked inside a mini "ice jail", entirely hiding his whole body. Before Chan could react, the other has the ice imprisoning WooPil fly to his own hand.

せㅌㅇㄴ

He teleports them all back to his apartment in the magic boulevard and things seem promising. WooPil heads to watch Netflix on the TV in the kitchen, while KiNo - to help ZhongLi who is so full of duties that day - starts to make the necklace with the clam and sea urchin by himself. ZhongLi won't easily escape wearing that thing.

Chan promises the kids they will come back with a gift and recommends about 200 times that they don't leave the apartment for any reason in the world. Chan trusts the fact WooPil has his phone and can easily contact them should anything happen or should KiNo cause troubles. But they both are quiet and cooperative when Chan and ZhongLi leave the apartment. And in any case, what they have to do won't take them longer than an hour - they are in South Korea, not South Italy.

Chan didn't lie when he said he had to visit the bank, that's really where they head to. He had an appointment to check the movements of his account and investments and renew his credit card. Nothing special.
A well dressed woman hands Chan a bunch of documents they have to check and sign and finally some forms to fill, then they are set to go.
When they leave the office, they come across probably the most unexpected of people: Lani and Tobi, aka XinLan, who too went to the bank for similar business.
The greeting moment between Chan and Lani is a bit tensed, because of Tobi - not much because Chan makes a fuss about XinLan but rather because Lani is worried and protective.

While they are talking, though, some crazy earthquake shakes happen. ZhongLi can easily tell that it's nothing natural, thus not something he can really control.
The bank is quickly evacuated and it doesn't take longer than a moment after they set foot outside to tell that there is a true mess going on.
The shakes keep happening from time to time and they are strong enough to damage buildings - SK is not a seismic area, thus they don't have strong antihseism measure or buildings.
The sky is black and bright red, with something like a vortex visible in the distance, in the direction of the magic boulevard.
There are demons everywhere, attacking people and destroying stuff.
Auror, Shadowhunters, downworlders and other powerful people of the area are all pouring in the streets to face the catastrophe, while humans are in utter panic and try to find shelter, but only ending up causing more havoc.

Cat in the sack.

After what HaoLin told him, he left pretty angry already. He can't help it, he and Arashi aren't meant to possibly tag along.
Once he reaches a place far enough from the palace to be able to teleport, he heads to Lianxi, right outside the city, and walks in a fast pace, all the way to the palace.
Depending on whether someone followed him or not, he will either go to see Shige first or not. He kinda needs to make sure he won't accidentally hurt his nephew a little too much.

He speaks to the guards, telling them he has to urgently meet with his family, then waits for them to let him in.

WooPil??

He resumed training hard and every day he brings Shangque to the ocean, so the dragon can enjoy and reach his full potential too.
His objectives haven't changed, he still wants to continue getting more powerful and independent, able to face every situation without needing anybody's help, but most importantly, he wants to be able to protect WooPil at any cost. It's his obsession, but as it's evident, the fact he failed in doing so had a pretty heavy toll on him.

He returns to the palace and WooPil's quarters in the evening and, after washing and changing, he goes to look for his little brother.
To his utmost shock, he finds him alone in the library… writing. Chan approaches the other, who is concentrating and doesn't even notice him at first, then looks at what he is writing. It looks like he is exercising in writing in hangul. He remains standing behind him and look at what he is doing, not even noticing right away the spherical, bright creature that is also looking at what WooPil does.
Turns out that the Jinni wasn't driven much by food — although it will become worse than a dog about it — but to cultural stuff.
