After talking with Miko, he heads upstairs to go to sleep. That's when he hears WooPil scream and his heart skips a beat. He immediately fears Morax found him and rushes in the direction where the voice came from.

After returning from the funeral, he goes to get WooPil back from Chongyun's house. Even if he knows that Chongyun and his family are good people, that doesn't mean he would trust them for long with Woopino. He is an overprotective type and was bothered already for having to entrust him to them to go to the funeral.
After taking the child, he walks back to the city hand in hand with him, slowly walking back towards the teapot. He knows that there are going to be a couple of… surprises that WooPil won't feel comfortable with.

His time alone outside ZhongLi's teapot wasn't particularly entertaining. He only met Dyonis and didn't even get to eat with him. So he just came back, not even late.
He was in perfect time to wash and prepare WooPil for bed, which saved Aron, Cyno and WooPil himself from a very awkward and probably messy situation.
He puts WooPil to sleep into ZhongLi's bed and leaves him there,without closing the door entirely, since WooPil is too short to reach the handle and he doesn't want him to climb on chairs and furniture if he needs to go out of the room.
When it's all done, he goes to eat his own bowl of noodles and actually brings one outside to Martin too. At that point, he just lets himself fall on the first couch he comes across and starts to play with his phone.

When Martin wakes up, they convince him to transform into someone different to avoid to catch the eye of the fatui. They also manage to convince him to leave the baby to Aron, at least on the way to the inn, so that the fatui may think the child is with Aron instead of Martin.

The next morning, WooPil literally wakes up at dawn. Since they arrived in Liyue earlier than planned, he of course expects that they are going to visit Guili plains right on that same morning.
