Hudie's matter made his mood even worse, despite being in New York in the full blooming of Christmas season. He can't help but worry about the matter, regardless he swore to himself that he wouldn't think about it.
He really wanted to do something special for WooPil for once, but ends up being thoughtful the whole time.
Due to that, the second day he decides to stay at the hotel while the others go out, at least for the morning. He will take WooPil somewhere just the two of them later in the afternoon and evening.

After the matter with those criminals, he decides to take a day off from work. That scum threatening WooPil has made him really shaken and worried, to the point he is seriously considering to resign as guard and start working at the kitchen too, so he can keep WooPil safe all the time. But then he won't earn enough gems to follow his own projects, to have a palace of their own and allow WooPil to not need working anymore.

While being lost in his considerations, his boyfriend runs back to him, looking panicked. He immediately stands up, alarmed by any variation of WooPil's mood.
«That other boy has kidnapped Flesh and WuXing hyungs with his dragon!!» says WooPil, panting from the run.
«What? What other boy?»
«The one who was with you and Hudie hyung when you came to rescue us…»
«The heol?»
«We have to do something…»
«He flew away? With a dragon? No wonder he was so interested in Shangque…»

He and WooPil get out of the house again.

In the end, he only managed to make those few pebbles, of all the big money he was dreaming to make when he went to Wutian. He used the pebbles to buy some delicious seafood to cook for dinner, in hope to cheer WooPil up a little. He knows that he screwed up really badly and that it will take time and effort for his boyfriend to return to feel well, after that. But Chan is still determined to proceed with his plans of the big palace with gardens and walls. He wants to spoil WooPil in every possible way, give him everything he didn't have in his childhood and also make his life better, in any way he can.

The next morning, Chan wakes up earlier than usual. It's still so dark outside that he wonders if it's still night, but not finding WooPil in bed makes him worried right away.
He checks the time and realises that it's early morning, around 4 am, which is about an hour and a half earlier than when WooPil has to go to work.
Chan wanders the house and notices that WooPil's "sack bag" that he usually brings to work is missing, meaning that his boyfriend really went to work.
He sighs, wondering if it's just that he was told to do that or if WooPil is deliberately overworking himself as a way to overcome what happened.

Once back to Lianxi, he is immediately annoyed to find WuXing already sleeping in their bed with Gino. He is really bothered by their house to be like a hostel for everyone else, so he actually packs some clothes and heads to Shige's place. Not just randomly, he thinks it's a good idea to move there so he can watch over Cloud too and keep him safe, as he promised to Shige.

Cloud has a little heart attack when he finds Chan at his door, but then everything proceeds smoothly. WooPil and Chan take the guest room — if there is one — and just settle there for the moment, until Shige will return.
The next morning, he resumes his job as a guard right away but intending to investigate the matter of Cloud's blackmailer.
He accompanies WooPil at work, he would of course not take a single day before returning to work too, then goes away to check on the volunteer builders, that Shige suggested could hide the culprit.

The conversation with JiWon pushed him to take action. He wants to prove that his are not only empty words and decides to leave, return back to Lianxi with WooPil. He has to prove, first of all to himself, that he won't let anything stand between himself and WooPil's wellness.

After they move to the new camp, he goes to speak to Shige, to explain his reasons. It's not that he is careless towards his brother, but Shige has thousands of people fighting for him, on his side, while he considers himself to be the only person WooPil has.
