Pointing fingers.
After TiHao is granted some time to rest and to spend with his family, a reunion with all the Knights is indeed called in Shiinden, to discuss the recent happenings and a path to follow for what's to come.
The gathering starts with the tale of what happened to TiHao, with all the questions and worries that the matter brings up. Everyone can agree that it's tremendously dangerous, that the powers of TiHao are now in the hands of someone potentially very evil.
At least they know where that enemy might be hiding: the manor in the abandoned village, although it'd be way too risky to attempt a direct attack there.
While talking, the discussion starts to touch the other problem: WonPil. What happened to him, where he is, what should they do about him.
That's where the mess starts, as WuNing firstly points out how suspicious the circumstances around him are.
"We have known WonPil for years, he is our friend and family. Whoever knows him enough can confirm for sure that he can't have anything to do with this matter and that the circumstances around him are just casual. In a moment like this, we should be united and stick to each others, not turn our back to one of our Silver Cloths."

All of a sudden, he starts to feel strangely oversensitive and somewhat different. He barely pays attention to it, or just discards it as just some mood shifts.
After all, working all night, having such a weird sleep pattern, can affect one's mood sometimes.
After meeting the kids to tell them about the decision of the preceptor, he disappears for a while, heading to their room.
He is curled up in a corner, crying floods.
He does cry sometimes, he isn't ashamed of it, but surely doesn't for small things, least of all if someone tells him something offensive, in that case, he is the one who makes the other cry!

Even if it's a complicated moment for their family, LaNi wouldn't miss to celebrate WuXin's birthday for anything in the world.
He thinks that WuXin wouldn't be up for a big party, in the current state of things, also since XinLan would probably not feel well if there was too much chaos in their home, so he decides to still make a little party, just the 5 of them.
In the previous days, he gave some money to Coco and Sharyn so that they could buy a gift for their appa and also brought XinLan out to choose a gift from him.
LaNi buys a lot of takeaway food of their favourite kinds, especially fried fish, plus sweets and a birthday cake. He didn't go cheap on this party, also since there isn't many people so the quantity of everything is more balanced for their finances.

LaNi didn't want to condition his choice in any way and let him pick what he wanted to gift his appa, regardless it would be something in his style. He heads to Seoul to buy lots of stuff for the party, including snacks, ingredients, pizzas, cake and some decorations, plus of course a gift.
