:O

While he is roaming in the city, he comes across some IG showing the portrait of some missing person and decides to approach, always a curious a**hole.
He gets a copy of the portrait and looks at it for a while, immediately getting the impression he saw that face somewhere.
Since the Zhou are so rich, seeing a monetary reward makes him immediately very focused on this case and keeps thinking about it until it finally comes to his mind: that new maid!

He rushes home like a fury and reaches the servants in the kitchen, whom, as usual, look so concerned about his presence.
"Where is that new maid?! Eh?! WILL YOU ANSWER MY QUESTION?!" Always so patient and considerate. ♥️
"She left, master..." finally replies a scared maid.
"What?! Where for? Why?? And WHERE DID SHE GO??"
As always, it ends up in a mess with him shouting and maids crying desperately. Very common show.

Boom!

Even since he received the amulet QinShi created for him, he never felt the need to make use of drugs or other substances of that kind; he also felt much better than before, under every possible side, mental and physical. After all, the amulet itself has the purpose of repairing a broken aura to bring the whole person back to balance. It takes a very long time, but as long as the amulet is on, it's positive effects go nowhere away.
About his mood, though, not even that amulet can do much and least of all about the biggest trauma of all: losing his mother.

He was tied to his mother to a pathological level and she only fueled that side of him, not even trying to get their relationship to a more mature level. No, not even when he was a grown up. He literally still went to sleep in bed with her sometimes.
If she had not been executed with the others, he surely would have had much less problems than he had and even in all this time, he still didn't get over her death at all.

There are some rooms in that Palace where they are living, beside his mother's bedroom itself, where she used to spend her time. Rooms (3) that are basically sacred to him and that he claims, even violently, to remain exactly as they were before his mother died. The poor servants know the nightmare when they accidentally place an item in the wrong spot after cleaning, Jin became their terror, for he really has scary reactions.

~ He wakes up from his nap rather late in the afternoon, after Chaerin has left the place already. As usual, his first thought is: what trouble is QinShi causing?
He asks the servants where he is and they tell him they don't know, but he didn't leave the house for sure.
He starts to look for him in the most obvious rooms: his bedroom, the biggest library, living room, bathrooms... nothing. "Where did that pest go again..." he grumbles, while walking in one of the many corridors of the second floor.
As he proceeds, he notices a door open and his blood starts to boil instantly: the smallest library, the one where his mother used to spend her time when she was still alive.
He approaches it, sincerely hoping that it's just a case, maybe the servants forgot to close the door after cleaning the room. Reached the entrance, he sees QinShi sat by the short table, reading one of the books of that library and there is even the cat with him.

Jin goes totally crazy at the sight of that. He rushes inside, pushes his brother-in-law away from the short table, shouting and growling as if he had caught him committing a crime, and starts to beat him up very wildly.
Attracted by the mess, the servants rush there too, but not a single one of them dares to step in to help QinShi.
Eventually, when he calms down a little, Jin stops kicking the other, whom is by now unconscious on the floor and approaches the servants, shouting at them too. At least he has the decency to not hit the maids too, although arguably there is little difference between QinShi and a girl, in terms of strength.
"TAKE HIM AWAY FROM HERE! DISAPPEAR, YOU ALL!" he growls furiously at the maids, who obey immediately, looking upset and scared by him.
When they all leave, he smashes the door close and starts to put everything back to its place in a maniacal way, crying.

Allies?

Since I can't wait...

He left as well, almost as soon as they returned. He went to take a look at the situation on his own, but also had other important business, like to take his boys back. Luckily, his small house in the countryside was untouched, being it in a very meaningless village, far away from the capital and the main cities.

Before taking Sam and Tae to Shiixia, he casually comes across a group of guys, acting as a resistance against the new regimen. No, not all the people simply accepted the situation and hid in terror, some decided to try to make a stand.
He was neutrally surprised to realize that most of those guys were his school students, but they immediately recognized and approached him, to seek for his guidance, although too prideful to openly admit it.
Most of them were also left alone, their parents dead or imprisoned, waiting for their execution.
One thing they all had in common, though: they all were changed. Back before the war broke loose, only one of them was a supernatural creature: Gogun. Now, all the 11 guys forming that little squad, are werewolves just like him. Not hard to guess how it happened.

Being a mainly careless and cold bastard who only cares about revenge and punishment, he sure doesn't blame Gogun, and won't bother to ask if he turned them out of their will or by force, since it could be of use for their cause anyway.
They might not be as powerful as Avatars, but definitely more than auriold and, hopefully, of Mijhatev's forged soldiers.

He decides to bring Gogun to Shiixia with them, being he the leader of the little pack, so that they too can participate to the plans to get rid of the two Goddesses.

Monsters.

While back from a long run he had in the forest, which has as main goal to find something to kill, because he really needs to, in order not to kill JunYin, he catches someone weird sneaking around their house.
It's late evening, all dark, and he is basically as delicate as a jaguar with a bunny.
He arrives from behind and grabs the man by hair, then grabs him inside, so gently he could tear his head off by accident.

The hard part, the hard way.

One would think the hard part, in their situation, to be coming up with strategies, training to death to empower themselves... instead, it is to make sure they don't just kill each other for some totally idiotic reason.
The fact the majority of the members of the group are actually totally broken guys and girls, women and men, most of which with abandonment syndrome and strong complexes, plus pride - if pride was a source of energy they could keep a nation lit for a century - makes it a real mess to get them to understand each others and admit some empathy, that they all feel, just ignore out of selfishness and arrogance.

The 'elders' of the group had to come up with an idea to make the guys closer and since a therapy session in which each of them would express their feelings would probably turn out in a butchery massacre that would be remembered in history, they got a little items, or rather a full set of those items.

In the early morning, they - roughly - wake up all the Avatars and summon them outside, in the deadly cold of Scottish winter, to explain them what is going to be.
