Thoughts.

"You look unwell, did something happen?" asks AeHee, after the guests have left the house.
LaNi is still sat by the table, looking thoughtful and nervous. "You shouldn't be so eager to invite strangers in our place... it's dangerous."
"Mianhamnida, I'm unforgivable! Sometimes my mouth is faster than my brain!" He looks down. "But what is it? Were these people dangerous? She was nice, she taught me a recipe!"
LaNi takes some time to answer his question. "The ring that boy has... I've seen it before." He shuts his eyes and shivers.
"Ring?" AeHee didn't even notice.
He nods. "I've seen it... on Yooseon's hand. I have no doubt it's that one."
"Jeoha... there could be more than one of a same ring. Jewelers have their models, who knows how many of those were sold. It's not said that it was a unique piece. Yooseon... could have even just found it somewhere, maybe it belonged to one of his people when they confiscated all the gold. Or he could have inherited it from an ancestor..."
LaNi shakes his head, keeping his eyes shut. The ring is currently inside his closed hand. "It's that one. Same number of leaves and gems, same damaged spot. It can't be intended. Nothing hand-made can he absolutely identical, even in its flaws." He has a photographic memory, he remembers everything in every little detail.
"Even so... what do you think it means?"
"I have considered all the possibilities, even the most unlikely. I don't like this... I don't like how he keeps forgetting it here." LaNi slowly opens his hand, showing the ring.
"Aigoo, that looks valuable. Who could really forget that..." AeHee grumbles, then kneels near LaNi. "But maybe he is just forgetful. You've seen how clumsy he is."
He slightly shakes his head. "I'm scared..."
"You really think that he could have been sent after you by Yooseon?"
"I don't know... I don't even want to know."
"But we won't take any chance!" He takes the ring from LaNi's hand and looks at it. "I won't let anyone get to you, Jeoha. nobody."
"I think it's time to make a weapon", LaNi murmurs.
"You are going to craft it yourself?"
The other nods. "Tomorrow I'll get some books about it. Meanwhile, I'll prepare the materials." He takes a breath and glances at the ring once again. "Take that thing away from me, please..."

New life.

As they enter the inn, AeHee immediately approaches the owner to ask for a room, while LaNi remains behind.
"Three coppers per night", lazily says the man.
"Copper? Aish... hang on!" He opens his backpack and starts to search among the stuff, finally extracting a cloth sack, closed by a golden string. He takes a medium sized diamond from it. "What about this? It's more than what you ask, isn't it?"
The man 'wakes up' at the sight of that shiny gem and immediately checks if it's real. And it is. "You can stay forever, keep the room forever, neauri!!" He gives him a key, still looking app ecstatic and excited.
"Gomawo!" AeHee takes rhe key and approaches LaNi. "Let's go, Jeoha!"
"You must not call me that way!" scolds LaNi.
AeHee looks down. "Mianhe... I have to bite my tongue every time I have to speak to you so informally..." He sighs. "My old father must be struggling in his grave for such insolence!"
"I'm nobody here. You owe me no formality."
"But..."

They proceed to the room, a very poor and dirty place. "Oh Shii... what's this? Did they give us a stable? With what I paid..." AeHee clenches his fist. "I'll go to search for cleaning tools so that I can try to give a decency to this room."
LaNi approaches the bed, literally made of straw under some dirty cloth and dusty blankets, and leaves his backpack on the small table near it. "Aniyo. You must be exhausted. Let's sleep."
"Jeoha..." he whines in a touched tone. "It's so unfair... you shouldn't be in this disfhsfing place..." Crying again already.
AeHee takes off his robe and place it on top of the bed, it's surely cleaner than anything else there.
"You'll freeze..." complains LaNi.
"Aniyo, in fine. This room is warm enough. Let's sleep!" He smiles and motions LaNi to lie down, then lies right next to him on the bed.

The next morning, AeHee wakes up early and leaves a ticket to LaNi, stating: I'm going to exchange some money and buy us clothes. I'll come back soon, don't worry!
And walks out of the inn, in underwear (the long classic one from historical k-dramas), heading towards the market of the village.
He finds a pawn stand where he exchanges another gem for less than 1/5 its value, but for that moment it has to do.
He gets 3 solvers which is more than enough to buy a very cheap peasant outfit for himself.
He wears it right away and buys a more dignified thing for LaNi to wear, then remains to walk around the market for some more time, wanting to learn more.

Long Live the Emperor.

He knew Lay was going to kill their great-uncle, he told him about it and he actually pushed him to do so, when he started to show some hesitation. That man was the cause of the begging of the decline of Zhou family, to him it was only legit to get rid of him. And considering all the monstrosities that man committed, is there really someone who could blame them to take his life in advance? He knows it will change the course of the future, but maybe the new bad consequences will still be less bad than what the old General did in the previous past.
He calls it a win-win, but it's not over yet, there is still much to do.

Why was Lay worrying about saving LianBi's life, over 35 years before the attack that caused his death happened? Maybe MoonBin should have asked that to himself, because the two Zhou, alone to freely mess up the past as they please, can turn out into a serious problem, mainly due to Jin.
Lay knows almost nothing, even about their own time. He has never bothered much to study and learn, but Jin knows. And what he doesn't know, he can still easily find out.
It was Jin to make an assumption on where the home of the daughter of the Emperor and her family would live and it turned out correct.
It was himself with Lay, in front of the Huang residence. And unlike LianBi thought, they were there for him.

Now, they know where LianBi lives, they also know where he often goes: TangSu. Both his grandmother and shifu live there, close close to their hideout.
Although the boy is almost always guarded, how hard can it be to lure such a young and naive kid somewhere safe to take him?
The only difficult part, to how he sees it, will be to convince that person who is the only one he knows to be able to do what they need.

Taking profit of Yichuan's gratefulness, Lay finds out where the person in question is: prison. Crime? Not specified, but he is dedicated to execute the fellow prisoners as soon as they set a foot in his same cell, for the amusement of the Prison Guards.
No doubt that is the person they are looking for and again, in order to pull him out of prison, they have to requires for the help of the only powerful man they know, for now, in Xhuanghen: Yichuan.
Lay uses the money be received from Meredith to both bribe the right people and to pay the required price to have Yang Yang released from the Imperial Prison.

Everything goes smoothly, strange how everything goes well when doing something wrong.
Jin meet Yang on his own, after he was offered to wash and to eat in Zhendong manor, and he tells the man the reason of his interest towards him.
He doesn't tell Yang they come from the future, but he gets the impression he knows anyway.
Since even Yang was much less righteous at that time, before meeting Bokho, it's not even hard to convince him to do what they ask for. He doesn't hesitate to accept, like he was only waiting for the opportunity to do that.

Set everything with Yang, the Zhou brothers can proceed with the plan.
They manage to attract LianBi away from his shifu's school before the lesson begins, after his father left, and they take him. They use a soporific potion to put him to sleep right away and simply carry him to the place where Yang told them.

What happens next? A delirium. Imperial and Palace Guards, mercenaries, armed nobles, private militias everywhere, searching every house and inch of TangSu.
They aren't late to arrive to the brothel too.
The search for LianBi in the brothel lasts about 2 hours, they search every inch, question every person, and not in a soft way. Some people get beaten badly out of no reason, some get even taken away in chains.

Move.

Since it's pointless to even just try to have a RP about group-planning stuff, or hoping that a RP could at least get to the point before it ends, he simply takes the matters of his interest in his own hands.

His ideas are pretty much the same as Lay's, mainly focused on fixing what got broken within the Zhou. He has always been a selfish person and will surely not turn altruistic out of nowhere.
He wants to see his mother, he wants Song to get back to his old self, he wants QinShi to not leave the Zhou and wants LianBi's death to never happen, because although he hates him and all the Huang, most of the bad things that happened to the Zhou in recent times was a consequence of the Emperor's death.

He has already thought what to do to prevent LianBi's death, as much as he has thought about what to do once Song will be born. What he still has to come up with is a way to approach the Zhou of the times without ending up in troubles, but actually ending in their graces without risking some unwanted flirt with a relative.
