As they get closer to Snezhnaya city, it becomes clear that something big is happening in there.
Buildings on fire, fatui everywhere, people running around and screaming in panic. It's an apocalyptic scenario, although it's hard to tell what the cause of the chaos is. There doesn't seem to be an enemy army or a bunch of monsters wrecking havoc, one could almost think that some experiments went wrong and caused a mass explosion. But it wasn't a single epicenter, Daniel is not that powerful yet.

If they stop the manor of Martin's mother, they'll just find a dead woman and no baby anywhere.
As soon as Daniel realised that his connection with Martin broke — and why — he had no more reasons not to take hold of his physical form and change it to what he needed. He killed his grandmother because he considers her responsible. He is making a mess, but his real targets are Dottore and the Tsaritsa.

Dottore's manor is intact. That's only because Daniel saw Dottore out of it and followed him, before losing his tracks.
Martin's body is on a metal bed down in the lab, lifeless.
Dottore injected him with a substance to calm him down, as he was being too agitated, but, unbeknownst to him, it contained some silver in it which worked like a deadly poison for a shapeshifter. Dottore definitely didn't want Martin to die, he even tried to save him and reanimate him, but to no avail.

Childe's home wasn't caught in Daniel's wrath as he is putting the blame of what happened to his father on the right people. But it's hard for him to control his power and it's natural that he is making a mess without necessarily wanting to. He is out of himself for what happened to his father.

He was taken all the way back to Snezhnaya by the segment of Dottore. For his luck, the real Dottore was abroad, but he is on the way back in great hurry. There are plenty of his clones running his lab and working in his place even while he is away.

Martin is allowed to briefly meet his mother, which results in him getting scolded and slapped by her. But at least he has the chance to leave Daniel with her, before being taken to Dottore's place to wait for his return. Or at least, Daniel's physical form.

When in Dottore's place, he sits down on the floor and curls up. He is terrified.

After leaving the kitchen, awkwardly since he caught Cyno and his boyfriend almost kissing, he aims to return to the room he was given. He normally wouldn't wander the palace, but he was feeling hungry and needed to eat something — which he didn't, in the end.

On the way back, he notices Morax and he freezes. He tries to avoid meeting him, and is initially successful. But as he reaches the corridor where his room is, there he is again.
He takes a breath and returns to walk, after stopping at the sight of Morax. He bows his head when close enough and simply aims to walk past him to proceed. He thinks it's ZhongLi, of course. They are identical except from the hairstyle and outfit.

Though, Morax grabs Martín's wrist right before he could take a step farther from him.
He freezes and remains motionless. «What do you want…?» he asks, trying not to sound too rude, since ZhongLi is hosting them and even took him and Daniel to a room.
Morax slowly turns towards him and moves his other hand behind Martin's neck, holding it firmly. «Your Lord is in the mood», replies the other, a spark of lust glimmering in his eyes.
Martin panics and holds Daniel tightly. «Wh… what…?» he sounds baffled.
Ignoring his words, Morax starts to walk towards ZhongLi's room, dragging Martin over, always holding him by the neck.

«Wait, please…!» Martin implores, right before Morax could open the door of the bedroom. «I… I need to leave the baby first…» he says in a panicked tone. He never thought ZhongLi would be the type to do that kind of things, but Morax's intentions seem even too clear to him.
The other seems to ponder and evaluate the situation for a moment. «Put him bed.» He slowly leaves Martin's neck.

He doesn't waste a second, as soon as Morax's hand is off his neck, he starts to run at full speed towards his room. There, he locks himself and Daniel up.

Eventually, Haitien manages to convince him to go with him and the Stellaron Hunters. The fact he was already found once and that there are people after his child don't make him reassured. Plus, life in that world wasn't exactly pleasant for him, in the couple of weeks he lived there. He had nothing else than his money, but there was nothing to buy except from some super simple foods.
He had to wear the garbage he found in that cottage, wash without any soap… live in the dust, use dusty stuff. Luckily his baby is the antichrist otherwise he could have risked very serious consequences.

He goes on the starship with them, bringing his baby with him of course. He is literally obsessed with him now and he really think that ZhongLi and the others might try to hurt the baby now. Especially after what he did to Chan and Hudie. He can't help it, he doesn't manage to trust them yet. They'd need a bit of effort for him to believe their intentions are really as good as they say. He doesn't know any of them closely and can't know what they are really like.

Anyhow, once on the Stellaron Hunters' starship, on Elio's order, Kafka makes sure to treat Skylar especially well. After all, there can only be two reasons if the "baby Aeon" wanted to keep people away from that cottage: protect himself or protect Skylar and they can't have the certainty.
After taking a careful and very long shower, wearing clean clothes, washing the baby and feeding him, Skylar heads to have some rest in Sam's room — that was given to him since we don't know a thing about him/her so we pretend they are off to some mission at the moment.

Before the demigods decided on their tactic, they get noticed by Skylar.
He tries to avoid making a fuss and simply stands up from the table, trying to act as natural as possible. Maybe they don't know it's him, he can't give for granted they had a way to recognize him.
He takes his bags from shopping and quietly walks away from there. But the demigods have to go after him.
He tries to sneak around to leave them behind, but eventually ends up in a dead-end alley, completely deserted. When he is in front of a tall wall, he turns around and sees Chan, Hudie and Cyno blocking his way.

Skylar feels really panicked. TiHao warned him they were coming but due to the time difference between Nortrig and Earth, the message arrived only a few seconds before the demigods reached him at the café. He truly fears the worst, he doesn't even manage to focus on what Cyno tries to tell him. His mind is a total mess and he feels dizzy and stunned.
Suddenly, Chan and Hudie are affected by something extremely painful. It pervades their whole bodies, like a torturing curse. After some time of unbearable pain, they also start to bleed from mouth, nose, eyes and ears. It doesn't pass long before they collapse on the ground and their bodies disappear. That's what happens when demigods "die", their whole bodies are taken back to the Halls where their Divine Parent can cure them and put them in the condition to return to the world.
Chan and Hudie will be able to return after just a few hours, also depending if they want to spend some time in the Halls to speak with Xie and Phoei.

Skylar's eyes widen at the scene, he freezes entirely and feels like to choke at what happened. «I… I did not do anything…» he barely manages to say, recoiling from Cyno. «I… n…» He hyperventilates like crazy, he thinks that Hudie and Chan died and that himself is totally doomed now.
