Letter from Shige.

My dearest brother Chan,
I write to you in response of the recent happenings that involved us. It took me a few days in order to organise my thought in a rational way.

I would like to begin by point out that some of the information you own, regarding the period of your absence, are incorrect. I would like you to investigate the matter further, by yourself, so you will see there is no lie or excuse from my side.
I understand that my actions might have been misunderstood and that I may have failed to match some of your expectations. Although I sincerely apologize if my actions were received in a way different from that I had intended, there were never ill intentions or negligence behind them.

Your feelings are valid and I am not expecting you to erase them or blaming you because of them. Nobody has the power to control the way they feel and you are no exception, so you shouldn't fall into the wrong belief that concealing your emotions could be a good stratagem.
If I have caused you sorrow, I would like to be given the chance to make up for it. But please, know that it wasn't deliberate, for it was never my intention to hurt you.

I am grateful for everything you have done and the contributions you've made. I may not have explicitly said it, but I always intended to give you anything you'd desire, in return, if within my powers.
So please, don't give up on your family just out of a minor misunderstanding. If given the chance, I'll prove to you that I value and care for you.
You know where to find me, should you decide to meet me. My doors are always open for you.

Sincerely,
K.S.

Home?

After a brief conversation with TiHao, that mostly consisted in the old man asking to borrow his dynasty book. He accepts to, since TiHao is kindly hosting them all in his luxurious fortress.
After settling more or less comfortably with his roommates, he explores the fortress a little as well and ends up finding the library. To his luck, most of the books there are ancient and since he can read and speak all the dolashin forms — except new — he has the chance to immerse himself in reading.
So much that he doesn't even notice the passing of time.

Risky.

As he feared, the papers with the bounty are traveling quite far, in the hands of fatui, treasure hoarders, mercenaries and even members of the Adventurers' Guild. It wouldn't be difficult for anyone to come across one of those papers, in Liyue, as it's where by now everyone believes Skylar is hiding at. And 200 million mora makes a lot of people really serious.

Before doing the teleport, he follows Tiao's advice to change his look as much as possible. He tries to transform into an average Liyue looking girl, wanting to keep an as low profile as possible, but due to his "genetic singularity", not just he is not as powerful as other shifters, he is also especially vulnerable to magic shifts, when his mind can't be clear and focused enough.
That's why his hair and eye keep gradually, but continuously, changing colour. He can keep the transformation up, but he has no control over that colours issue.

When he is done wearing some random clothes he asked Tiao to get for him — as he remained hidden, even after transforming himself —, he finally teleports himself and Tiao right inside the inn room where Diluc took him to. Where he assume he and Kaeya are still staying at.
He closes his eyes and does the magic, not opening them not even after reaching the other side. He may be pathetic for shifter's standards, but he is a master of common auriold magic.

Ooo

In a way, what happened with Diluc and Kaeya was also a relief. Now he is finally free of charges and can wander freely, even in his original look, without too many worried.
He still doesn't plan to return to Mondstadt and will definitely try to avoid Diluc as much as he can, in fear he could change his mind. He is even considering to leave Liyue too, in search for more positive experiences.

Since he is almost entirely useless for what concerns basic things like cooking and taking care of the house, he is forced to go out for every meal, to buy food.
Wanmin restaurant isn't exactly his thing but he doesn't want to go to Xinyue kiosk twice per day every day either.
He decides to stop by Chen the Sharp's stand and eat some of his renown fish skewers. He eats unnervingly slowly, all alone by a table while reading from a book folded on the table next to his food.

Commission.

He hurries to leave the inn as soon as they let him. Regarding joining the Knights, he gave a dismissive: «I'll think about it». Not really considering the offering though. XD

He rushes to the market to buy some new clothes for himself. He is not the type who travels with baggage either, only mora. He even abandoned the dress in their bathroom with no intention to reclaim it back.
Bought a new set of clothes, he finally decides to rent a room for himself in an inn, the farthest possibile from where Diluc and Kaeya are staying, rather than returning in Childe's place.
He takes a long bath, wears his new clothes and goes out to have someone wash and iron the clothes Kaeya handed him. He is very eager to return them to him, as he worries they serve as an excuse to look for him again.

When everything is clean and packed, he heads to Katherine at the Adventurers' Guild to leave a commission.
