Katherine's smile starts to grow a little strained.

"That uhh... that means come in. Do you both speak common??" She looks a little desperate.

Tuí shrugs back then bounds inside cheerfully. Perhaps there's something shiny. Lisa has already retreated into the stables too.

*Book follows after a few seconds in manner not quite as energetic as Tuí's.

Katherine takes a moment to peer about at the streets before she steps in and pulls the stable door shut behind them.

The stables are tall on the inside and the stalls are big too, perhaps a little bigger on the inside than it appeared outdoors. It's rustic-looking and a few heads poke out of stalls and even kick at the stall doors in seeking attention. Over the stalls is a hay loft and the cobbled floor itself has scatterings on hay in places.

{Would you like to do an perception check?)

{If so, roll a D20 and add your Wisdom modifier!)

{Okay!)

Book is able to notice something large at one end of the stable with a dusty cover on it. It's in a place where a stall might have been but now has been knocked down to fit the great object. Despite being a rather rustic-looking stable, it's clear to see that it's also a little luxurious and there are some obvious parts that hint this, the floor, despite the scatterings of hay, is relatively clean and looks to be made of pale stone. The stalls are all made of oak wood and sanded down and varnished and the iron beams on the corners of the stalls as well as the arc and fencing along the top of the wood are all painted forest green with little lanterns at the top of the beams. Everything looks rather new and well cared for.

On the other hand, she can also notice that Tuí's tail is flicking and she's looking around rather sheepishly with her ears down, it seems that she's spooked by the loud noises of the horse in the back kicking its stall.

Tuí shakes her head and flattens her ears with her hands against the sides of her face. She winces a little.

"Loud noises are frightening and spell danger. The rainforest has many sounds but it all fades into the background, when there are loud, loud noises it's something bad and dangerous." She pauses. "The monkeys also tell us when there is danger when they start howling but we rely on the great rainforest dragon for the most part. Both make loud unusual sounds at danger."
