Backstory:
Kyoux'alator The Lonely Planet
Kyoux'alator is an earth like planet in a system far away from earth. Its inhabitants, the peaceful Amphibian race the Kyou who have mastered teleportation travel live in constant fear of the Neurgh, a violent Anthropomorphic Hyena race who are determined to enslave and devour the Kyou whom they deem a delicious delicacy.
Kyoux'alator is a vibrant beautiful world, with bright blue oceans where the Kyou built their citadel which has now long since gone to ruin. The Neurgh live in various pack grounds spread throughout the lush plains and fields. These fields of red grass act as perfect material for the Neurgh to weave and bind their weapons. Canopies of giant root like trees sprawl across mountainous valleys that dot the horizons of the vast oceans.
Below the surface of the ocean is a vast eco system full of life and flora. Ranging from Sikara Serpents (large serpentine beasts that prowl the depths below) to the winged dancing fish of Jiloon, these and many more call the ocean home.
After the decades of war between the Neurgh and Kyou, the Kyou ended all civilsation as we know it by using a device filled with a toxin...a toxin that would sterilise both the males and females of both species. In the end the following 7 years slowly degraded the Kyou and though their feral adversaries had fallen before them...their fate was sealed.
By the time the Master and the Doctor arrive on the ancient world, all civilisation had been lost. The Neurgh extinct along with the Kyou...apart from one lonely individual who managed to seal themselves away in a Sleeper pod, a device given to the Kyou in a trade with another race. This Kyou would be the last of his species and it would be him who would help the Doctor cure the master of his dire circumstances...but little did they know betrayal was on the horizon and The Master murdered the last Kyou, revealing himself to be in fact in fine health. He poisons the Doctor and leaves him stranded on the lonely planet...
