So my idea is as follows. your character finds an old VHS tape abandoned at an old playground, you decide to get the footage restored and you watch it. what you find is cryptic footage with a set of coordinates which leads you down a deep dark rabbit hole of a mystery still left unsolved for over 30 years...what lies ahead? deep dark secrets and vile acts that can only be seen to be believed!

1: The Joker is Bruce Waynes half brother

A rumour had been spread around that the New Joker is in fact the bastard son of Thomas Wayne and is the product of a heated affair between Jokers mother and Thomas Wayne. if this is true, the Joker portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix who is 44 would have every reason to hate the Waynes, he never knew his father and grew up in a lie and only finds it out if (possible spoiler) his ill mother (actress unknown so far) is dying and reveals it to him thus giving a whole new perspective to the Joker narrative.

2: An inspiration

A possible theory that I personally dislike is that Arthur Fleck aka the Joker that is portrayed in this movie by Joaquin Phoenix is not Batmans Joker. but your saying hang on a minute! the movie is called JOKER and he is the Joker right??? well yes but also possibly no. This Joker could well and truly be in fact (similar) to the Valeska twins in Gotham, a precursor and inspiration to the true future clown prince of Crime as I do believe Bruce Wayne is only 9 years old or at max 12 in this film. I believe possibly this Joker could be a revolutionary step in Gothams insane history, that he will be a stepping stone for all of Batmans villains to come out for the new DC Dark universe! so in my head he could well in fact be a 'Joker' but not the one that faces against Batman as he is already (we assume) the same age as Joaquin which is 44 I do believe that he is to old to be the clown prince of crime that faces Batman when Batman starts off in the comics he is about 24. so in fact it is very possible that this man who is the 80s Joker is in fact the man who inspires the future clown prince of crime!

A possibility is the Joker is killed by someone and inspires the Waynes killer to kill them!

3: Violence???

I honestly think that the movie will focus more on the Jokers pain and suffering, the movie will most be likely R for America and MA15+ in Australia. with reports of nudity popping up in the media a while back its to early what to expect from the movie until we get a full trailer but here's what I expect.

This Joker won't be a violent psychopath, he won't go around murdering people because its fun! no no I believe this Joker wants to expose the Waynes for the rich bastards they are. I personally think that him losing his job which is im pretty sure guaranteed at this point, was somehow connected to the Waynes. perhaps they cut funding to public Tv or something? maybe an interview with Thomas Wayne goes wrong and this causes the tv show Arthur works on to be shut down! so therefore I believe that Arthur Fleck aka the Joker will rise up the people of Gotham, those who are now unemployed and begin a battle against the rich and corrupt of Gotham as this has been shown in pictures and footage shown here www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvmZoJ9DcG4 and various men dressed as clowns are shown holding signs saying "WAYNE IS TO BLAME!" and "KILL THE RICH!" this yet again ties into my theory provided in point 1. that he is the bastard son of Thomas Wayne and wants revenge for being neglected that he now has nobody in his life.

Note: I do however think he will cause mayhem but not in the same way previous Jokers have, I do not think he will go around the streets killing people. I think he will make the people of Gotham angry thus creating Chaos against order and he just sits back and watches and occasionally joins in.

4: Beginning of a new DC?

DC is yet to comment if this movie will birth a new generation of darker and gritty films separated from the failing DCEU. I do believe if this movie does well, DC dark could well and truly show many different perhaps even unconnected storylines about our favourite DC characters! here are my top picks for spin offs or solo instalments after JOKER 2019

1: Two face

Two face is a villain i feel desperately deserves a chance to show off how dark is origin story, if the gritty and dark tone of JOKER 2019 works I would love to see a Two Face Film inspired by the Long Halloween comic book!

2: Penguin

Perhaps we will see the cobblepots in Joker? another infamously rich family in Gotham that depending on what comic you read had their fortune stolen by the waynes, if the Joker movie serves as a brand new connected Universe then a penguin movie would be great! to rise from the fallout of Jokers actions, a newly inspired and confident CobblePot rises to take vengeance for his family!

3: The Court of Owls

OKAY THIS IS THE ULTIMATE FILM I WANT ASIDE FROM JOKER MOVIES!

A shadowy Illuminati like organisation that control everything in Gotham! even the Waynes! I'd love to see an origin movie for these guys and gals!

4: Riddler

Look im not going to lie. I know very little about the man Edward Nygma is, but its that very fact I do believe he deserves his own movie! an origin movie! I know a lot of people want it, and I do to. If the show Gotham shows anything, you can make this character work very well in a dark setting! so yes I would like to see a Riddler standalone Movie.

5: Manbat

A highly underrated and often forgotten character, Kirkland Langstrom was a brilliant scientist who saught to cure Deafness. he saw Bats as his major inspiration and created a formula to test on himself as he is deaf in one ear. happily married he injected himself with the serum and became the monstrous creature known as ManBat! this could be a very interesting movie and I think could almost be a horror movie!



DCEU OR DC DARK? MY OPINION OF THE FUTURE OF DCS ESTABLISHED UNIVERSE

Look no matter how many fans it has, the DCEU has dwindled and dwindled in quality. with 2016s Suicide Squad and 2017s Justice League being the last straw for me. the only decent movies in the series are WONDER WOMAN and MAN OF STEEL, and now that Henry Cavill has left DCEU its a shock to see the DCEU have no superman and rumours of him being replaced by Supergirl? GREAT! MORE PLOT HOLES! JUST WHAT WE NEED! look to make things short, I hate the DCEU and its lack of development and attempts to copy MARVELS successful cinematic universe haven't just failed...they have bombed so badly! critics are not impressed with the movies, with to this day WONDER WOMAN being the only stand out in the franchise so far. its so tragic to see such garbage being produced by the same company that gave us THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY! I have lost all faith in the DCEU and I will forever now walk into a DCEU movie with sh*tty expectations, and I refuse to see SHAZAM YUCK! I like dark gritty movies! not cheesy nonsense! anyway enough ranting, my point is if JOKER 2019 is successful, and is truly a proper DC R rated movie then it will be massive! it will make all us fans of dark gritty tale telling happy and it may just give DC a new chance!

Personality: Depending on who speaks to Arthur he may be one or multiple people at once, the man is deemed insane by all of closed minds whom have crossed paths with him, one man claimed that Arthur was an academical genius! who sought to prove the various times and places existence begun, and to prove the theories of the big bang false and to prove that yes in fact their was a god but not as we knew it to be, perhaps there were many gods in existence? not just one for many many cultures worship their own beings, Arthur sought to explain these occurrences and what the source could very well be. another who came across Arthur provided a very simple description of the man, he simply stated "THAT MAN SOUGHT THINGS NO MAN WOULD DARE EVEN FATHOM! HE IS MAD! AND MADNESS IS HIS REALM!" such a bold statement from a man not touched by science or God, simply a random passer by in our great big world who sought explanation and evidence of Arthur Lodrakes scientific impact he had on modern day society. A woman of vast importance, Lady Lucille Mortimer described Arthur as a charming but troubled man, for she had known him since his early journeys into manhood, the man had gone through many stages of doubt, faith and questioning of the divine powers that be and she held him dear to her heart. So it would seem to be that Arthur was indeed quite the character, quite the person indeed to be fascinated by. So when dealing with Arthur it is wise to know the man is very obsessive with his studies and research that he seems to forget that he is living in the present moment. therefor he may be quite scatterbrained and hard to understand at times.

Bio: Arthur Lodrake was born in the Peoples Republic of The Anti Monarchy London or (PRTAML for short) an alternate timeline to our own where Queen Victoria was assassinated before she could become queen and all further heirs and possible successors where killed to. London and the rest of the Britains all became independent with each state having its own unique identity and ruler. Arthur's parents were both librarians and keepers of knowledge, his father Tobias Lodrake was accused of helping the Lords of PRTAML destroy various tomes of knowledge and power and aiding the new religious movements move in. Tobias was executed because of this when the PRTAML system failed, the lords and Tobias were all executed by the furious people of London.

After the death of his father, his mother Beatrice Lodrake went into a dark dark state and she became ill of her own making, a dark depression encased her mind in a fog of doubt and self loathing and it would be her demise for only 7 years later it would cause her to jump out of the Lodrake manors window and claim her own life. This left Arthur, aged 10 all by his own with none to care for him except the family servant Horrus Hogworth whom was a cruel bitter man who did not care for anyone but himself. Arthur soon found out the hard way that now with no parents to guide him, he had to find his own way in life. He found the company of books for the grand Library of London owned by his family was his playground! whilst children played on the streets and worked petty jobs to be slaves to the clock for the rest of their lives, Arthur learnt knowledge that no boy of 10 dared even explore! tales of great endurance and power, of wars fought and realms explored! he loved literature and by the age of 18 had read so many books he began to build his obsession with the unknown.

Arthur would begin his studies by reading the bible and the Qur'an to try and paint a picture in his mind of what a human being would depict a God as, unsatisfied he started to grow curious about vast cultures such as the Aztec, Maya and the Ancient Egyptians! he would fund various expeditions with his families fortune for explorers to explore these cultures and bring back archaeological findings and evidence of these cultures beliefs. More and more in depth in the findings and recordings of such cultures, aged 20 Arthur would himself voyage to these countries, he would go to the Americas first, spending time in both North and South America where he also gained an understanding of the local peoples there. When the time finally came to explore Egypt in all its glory, during his voyage something would go terribly wrong for the ship he had boarded descended into madness.

Whilst aboard the ship The Sea's Maid all the crew members burst into madness, the captain gauged his own eyes out and many flung themselves into the watery depths below claiming to have heard a noise that none can describe. Terrified Arthur locked himself in his cabin and hoped for the best...little did he know that night he would be in the presence of what mankind had called 'God'. A dark stream of putrid metallic liquid seeped under the cabin door, Arthur looked at the liquid in dismay as screams echoed throughout the night of the fallen crew members delving deep deep into their newly founded insanity. The liquid became to form a shape of some sort, not fully whole but it was their and it seeped into the floor boards of the cabin and began to absorb and construct itself into a form that could be understood by a mortal being. There standing in front of Arthur was a being made from the very wood of the floor mixed with tendrils of darkness and unknown substances, the being had one glowing eye with many many pupils inside that all opened some sort of gateway to knowledge unknown. The being formed a grizzly smile and softly nodded and said in the English tongue in a deep grizzly voice "You have done it Arthur...you seek none that others have sought..." the being reached out a long tentacle like arm and placed it on Arthur's forehead, this made him instantly pass out and when he awoke he was back at his manor in London.

17 years later, Arthur is trying to explain what that being was to this very day and has published 3 books on the manner. The first being titled 'The voyage that none shall take' which is a recounting of his encounter of the being and the time period leading up to it, the second book he published is called 'On matters unknown: a study on the concept of God and Deity's which was a very in depth look into followers of God and other Deity's and their beliefs, it totalled over 1000 pages and is considered by many a highly plausible theory into Mankinds creation...a passage from the book reads as such "Mankind, since the dawn of time has always believed in some kind of creator and over the generations and generations of evolution and change our ways change but do our beliefs change? most but not all like to believe that our existence is because of some kind of God, a man with a white beard in the clouds with a son who sacrificed himself to save us from sin is one of the more common thoughts on such. I do not believe any of this, it is poppyc*ck and nonsense! I believe that our existence, the big bang was actually the dreaming of a vast being beyond our understanding. that reality as we know it is actually the playgrounds for not one but many cosmic beings that all have their own goals and ideals" this concept earned Arthur a lot of controversy and hatred from Religious movements but Arthur did not care, like any good Scientist or Philosopher he takes into account others beliefs and he argues his own beliefs through debate and evidence, he is yet to find true evidence that supports his encounter with the Cosmic being. His third and final book 'On Spiritual progression and teachings' is a small lecture and understanding of his time spent with spiritual communities and his recognition and importance of such a lifestyle, but of course this being Arthur Lodrake he has some scepticism and ridicules some beliefs in this system. Currently Arthur is still trying to find evidence and proof on this cosmic being for that night he awoke in his manor after the incident on the boat, he had very powerful thoughts that were not of his own, but that of the being he had met. Now he is simply trying to find this being once again and studies the Occult to try and find an answer...that he many never truly find.
