muse A stops in at a coffee shop before heading to give an interview. the person in front of them in the queue is muse B. muse B is being an a**hole toward the barista. muse A calls them out on it and may or may not pour their coffee on them in the process. when Muse A arrives at work they realize that the the person they are interviewing is Muse B.

muse A and B are in the same friendship group and everyone has been trying to get them together for months. one of their friends decide to have a christmas party in which - quite literally - muse A and B are shoved under an arch with mistletoe hanging over them.

a cliché plot where muse A is a badass and Muse B is a sweet little angel. muse A makes a bet with their friends that they can date and dump muse B. muse A ends up falling for muse B and doesn't want to hurt them so tries to avoid completing the bet. But muse A ends up taking muse B to a party and muse A's friends tell muse B about the bet. how will muse B react?

muse A and muse B have went to the same schools for years however have never really gotten along. they're almost opposites so it's difficult for them to find a common interest. one day they're put into a team when given the task to complete a school project. will they argue or manage to resolve their differences?

backstory ✝

(0-5) peter was brought up in san francisco, and at a young age he had already felt different from the rest of the kids. although making friends came easy enough to him, he couldn't help but feel emotions deeper than others. insults did not just make him sad, they broke him. and when he lost his favorite teddy bear his life was well enough to be over. his parents were supportive of him, succumbing to his heavy emotions by consoling him and assisting when needed- however as he got older they got more tired. his state never improved, rather repressed.

(15-18) once in high-school, peter explored relationships and committed himself to multiple girls, and as much as he loved them, he couldn't shake the feeling he didn't want to have sex with them. and strangely, he knew he was gay, but continued to date around anyways. this led to weird and toxic one-sided, platonic-but-romantic relationships that probably didn't help in account for the way his mind worked.

(18--) now graduated, peter would move to the other side of the country in an attempt to find himself. he never came out, nor let anyone know that he was gay- even if they might've guessed it first. he's currently studying computer science and plans to find an internship before graduation, hopefully working in that field. but for the moment he teaches kids how to swim.

backstory ✝

(0-5) declan was born in the midst of the shores of boracay, into a fully fillipino family. his mother and father were very young to be having a child, being both nineteen at the time- this caused a whirlwind of financial and family problems at a very young age. dec was exposed to an abusive environment, and tended to rely on his mom more then his father- who he saw as a angry monster. his father left soon after, and his mom met an australian solider whom she married, and thus the three moved themselves to Sydney.

(5-18) dec was always close to his stepfather and mother, as they were his true parents. he grew up on the beach, and often went to play in the water and picked up surfing with his nearby neighbors. he grew up with salty hair, and a love for the sun. a passion for the ocean and anything everlasting about it grew inside him, and he decided to pursue the dream of being a pro-surfer. but due to his mom's complaining and whining, he currently attends college.

(0-11) Wes always felt indifferent towards his family. Labeled early on the stereotypical 'rich kid', said affluence was due to his family's corrupt nature, and involvements in illegal drug fares, hiding money with property and cars. His parents marriage was merely a legal document, his younger sister was always gone, and his brother was an addict. He found himself thinking he'd break away from this cycle, and thus he became the golden child of the family- he was enrolled in the finest private school in upstate New York, excelled in rugby of all sports, and made a name for himself among his teachers, finding refuge in scholarly life. He tried his best to not live at home.

(12--) At twelve, he came to fully grasp the messiness of his home. His brother had passed from an overdose, and it was practically swept under the rug by his parents. He finally understood how they wanted the world to work. If you were a golden child, people would care, and if you went on ten-day drug benders, you were just another death in a statistic. He couldn't believe they'd treat his death so loosely, and it caused a divide between his family. He desperately tried to separate himself from that, and after four years of AP classes, womanizing and underage drinking, he graduated and got into NYU, largely due to his privileged background- one he couldn't ignore, and was pretty ashamed to have knowing what it entailed.
