backstory ✝

(0-5) peter was brought up in san francisco, and at a young age he had already felt different from the rest of the kids. although making friends came easy enough to him, he couldn't help but feel emotions deeper than others. insults did not just make him sad, they broke him. and when he lost his favorite teddy bear his life was well enough to be over. his parents were supportive of him, succumbing to his heavy emotions by consoling him and assisting when needed- however as he got older they got more tired. his state never improved, rather repressed.

(15-18) once in high-school, peter explored relationships and committed himself to multiple girls, and as much as he loved them, he couldn't shake the feeling he didn't want to have sex with them. and strangely, he knew he was gay, but continued to date around anyways. this led to weird and toxic one-sided, platonic-but-romantic relationships that probably didn't help in account for the way his mind worked.

(18--) now graduated, peter would move to the other side of the country in an attempt to find himself. he never came out, nor let anyone know that he was gay- even if they might've guessed it first. he's currently studying computer science and plans to find an internship before graduation, hopefully working in that field. but for the moment he teaches kids how to swim.
