A lot of it is based on what I feel relates to him as a character and his story. I plan to add more to it as I think of songs for it. I hope you enjoy.

Astarion never understood what love was, what intimacy was. What it all even meant, to him - Love was the pain Cazador instilled in him, intimacy was the blade to skin, the beating, the yelling. The praise he'd get with every victim he'd lure. To him, for a while at least - Tav was his victim. He wanted to manipulate, to lie - to keep them close, to protect himself. It was nothing more than that. And only that.

But this newfound feeling, this anxiety inducing, admittedly scary feeling he got for this traveller, it was different. He didn't exactly know how he should react or even act. It had thrown him in a loop, so to speak. How was he supposed to approach the situation? Should he charm his way in? No, that felt way too wrong, way too tainted for him to do.

He sat on the edge of a dock overlooking the sea, waves crashing against the shore - the distant sound was soothing, yet his mind continued to run amok. He couldn't quell his anxieties about this feeling. He's never genuinely felt it before, and it bothered him. His mind is screaming at him to either get rid of the cause, or to run away.

For once, he chose to stay put. To sit with it. No distractions, just him, himself and the ocean. Whether or not he'll confront Tav about his feelings, he was unsure. But for now, he basked in it, even if it hurt in some way. He didn't have to know what to do, not yet. For once, he wasn't rushed.

The elf often found himself skulking about in the forests, he did it a lot before he was turned. It was one of his favourite spaces to go. He used to have such a fondness for pretty things, for flowers, for trees. But after spending so much time in the dark, he had forgotten what it all looked, and felt like.

The one thing that confused him was the fact that he didn't feel that much excitement as the sun finally hit his cold, pale skin - but fear. Maybe the fear that he'd be punished for being out.. but he shook those thoughts from his head, this was a peaceful, tranquil moment - where he could be himself, and not worry about anyone hurting him.

He found himself sat on a log, legs swinging back and forth as he gazed up passed the leaves, the sun dancing along his skin. it was nice to be free.

The adventure was far from over, and he knew he'd probably not get to bask in such prettiness for another while, so he savoured it. He.. wouldn't mind if someone were to join him in this, even if he didn't have much to say. Nor would he.. straight up admit it.

A vampire spawn, turned against his will by a vampire lord known as Cazador, Astarion spent nearly two centuries using his body to lure people to Cazador, being told they were for him to feed on, only to find out it was much, much more sinister than that.

At the hands of Cazador, he suffered abuse. Horrific abuse, so as a result - he is very, very terrified of people, but he plays this off with an aloof mask of sorts, otherwise, his iconic sass and attitude are all a front. Inside, he is desperately afraid, and wishes to get the power back that he lost to the hands of his old master.

Due to the subject matter in this characters story, smut will be something that I will RARELY do. Astarion is a survivor, even if he is flirtatious, his advances are nothing more than an attempt to gain a sense of safety. As a result, anyone forcing smut will be removed.


He is a very complex and dark character, and I plan to play him to the best of my abilities.
