sunlight. (open starter.)

The elf often found himself skulking about in the forests, he did it a lot before he was turned. It was one of his favourite spaces to go. He used to have such a fondness for pretty things, for flowers, for trees. But after spending so much time in the dark, he had forgotten what it all looked, and felt like.

The one thing that confused him was the fact that he didn't feel that much excitement as the sun finally hit his cold, pale skin - but fear. Maybe the fear that he'd be punished for being out.. but he shook those thoughts from his head, this was a peaceful, tranquil moment - where he could be himself, and not worry about anyone hurting him.

He found himself sat on a log, legs swinging back and forth as he gazed up passed the leaves, the sun dancing along his skin. it was nice to be free.

The adventure was far from over, and he knew he'd probably not get to bask in such prettiness for another while, so he savoured it. He.. wouldn't mind if someone were to join him in this, even if he didn't have much to say. Nor would he.. straight up admit it.

Foina
Foina Why, In the ghastly seven hells, did someone have to piss off a fucking Girallon? A GIRALLON! of all things; the multi-armed ape, was terrifying as it was; But, to literally go trifling with one of em was just a death sentence. The bastards were amazing hunters, and took to the trees, or ruins. Either, or—it was a nasty thing to cross paths with.

Hunter, to hunter—it had been painfully agonizing to find the damn thing. For all she knew, it could already be hunting her, vs her hunting it. Fortunately...she was able to track its trail.

Hopefully, it was close and without company. One, alone was enough to be a challenge in itself. But a group? Or just two, felt like a death warrant. Gibson fucking owed her, BIG. With a rugged sigh passing her lips, as she cautiously followed. It was rather surprising, to find people in this territory. It was beautiful, no lie. But...the dangers that resided made her less than, desiring to stick around and wait for whatever could come across her path.

When the snowy haired male came into sights, she was hesitant to make any motion to interact. She didn't want to endanger the other, encase the prime ape, was near. But—it would've been cruel, to not at least say something..

Reaching down near her foot, she grasped up a fairly small rock, but big enough to make noise upon contact. Aiming to hit the log, he resided upon. She swiftly, tossed it. Aiming to get his attention, without drawing too much noice.

" Psst! Oi!" She tried to call, as quietly as she could.

bloodhail The cool air blew, rustling his snowy curls. He was pulled out of his calmed trance when he felt something hit the log.

The elf shot around, not all that happen he was disturbed. "What in the hells do you think you are doing?!" he yelled, hopping down off of the log.

"Come out, at least!" he scoffed, bending down to pick the rock up, eyes narrowing slightly.

"Your aim is lacking." he commented, shaking his head. "Maybe try to aim for my head next time, if you are trying to kill me off. But even then, that wouldn't be enough."

There was a moment of eerie silence until there was a faint roar heard in the distance, it caused him to freeze up. "... This isn't funny anymore, come out."

He decided to just walk towards where the little Psst came from, gazing down at a bush. "Hello? Whoever just threw that rock at me?"

Foina Hearing the roar, made Aseria, immediately get tense. While the male had been berating about the rock, and toss. She felt fortunate it had compelled him to get into the vicinity of her grasp. She hated to disturb another's peace, but with that roar. She was right.

Popping out, and roughly yanking him by his shirt, to her; She hissed. " Shut. The. FUCK. UP." she warned, as she quickly looked around in anxious manner. " I'm trying to save you, not have the damn thing kill us both." She scolded him, in a whispered yell, as she released the fabric.

" Now get down, and keep quiet for a moment—Girallon's aren't known for being fuzzy and cute." She said, as she tried to gauge where the damn thing was even at. That sounds wasn't too far off, so it definitely was aware of others being close to it. She just hoped, it wasn't rushing to find them. She needed to get into a position of advantage, not vulnerability.

bloodhail Astarion gasped, flailing about as he was gripped by the shirt "Let me go!" he spat, paddling in the air, trying to kick and push her away - it was mostly just a defense mechanism of sorts, he hated being touched, but he did not realise the danger they were in until she told him why she grabbed him.

He calmed down as she let him go, his breathing heavy as he crouched down, slowly moving over to a bush.

"Gir... what the hells? I am literally just a magistrate from the city! I know none of this" he whispered, pouting a little as he laid in wait for whatever this creature was. "I was just out here... getting some fresh air. I don't get that a lot."

He finally shut up when he heard another roar. This time, a little closer.

Foina " Like that wasn't, CLEARLY, obvious." She replied gruffly, before she took a moment to adjust her mask. Trying to keep her sighting viable, as she tried to pick her next position. " Girallon; Big fucking ape, multiple arms, snowy fur and filled with nothing but rage, and a huge desire to hunt it's prey. Generally they're near ruins, that contain magic—but some idiot pissed this bastard off." She briefly summarized, as she unsheathed a boot blade, and pulled out two vials that contained a strange liquid. " Here— douse yourself in this; It'll keep It from making you a rag doll." She stated, as she held out one of two, vials to him.

" You stay put, I'm going to find a higher point. Just don't do anything stupid, got it?"
