I'll get straight to the point: I'm a sucker for historical plots, so that's what I'm here to do. I'm not interested in any other genres, although I don't mind incorporating some of them into our roleplay on occasion. I have many pre-conceived plots listed on my blog if you'd like a taste of what I'm all about, but I love it when people slide into my messages and bring new and vivid ideas to the table. I love world-building and lore, whether done beforehand or throughout the plot. In terms of historical accuracy, I am quite flexible; as long as everything feels fairly period-accurate (the characters, the dialogue, the setting, the events that make up the storyline) I am happy! I do not claim to be any expert whatsoever when it comes to accuracy anyways, so if I make a mistake, please do not be afraid to correct me! I also adore romance plots, but only when they're done right. Hint: lots of slow burn, mixed with a healthy amount of angst and fluff. The relationship between our characters must be layered and the build-up must feel real. Ultimately, there must be chemistry between them; I'm not looking to write a relationship that feels forced. In terms of more *adult* content, I generally steer away from er*t*ca, but I'm alright with some tense/steamy scenes, followed by a fade-to-black sequence if it feels right in terms of the plot. Despite this, I still want to stress that some form of mature content or dark themes will most likely be present throughout our plot! If you have any boundaries, please do not hesitate to make me aware of them beforehand. At the the end of the day, communication is key, and I expect you to be up front about what you expect from me to deliver as a writing partner, and I will certainly expect the same of you.
I am a literate, multi-para writer, and I prefer partners who can match me in length and quality (in terms of grammar, spelling, etc.). However I realize that there are a multitude of factors that affect one's writing. I consider myself to be quite understanding, but if your replies are clearly sloppy/low-effort and contain a multitude of errors that render it ultimately incomprehensible, I will not hesitate to end our roleplay. I generally prefer to write multi-muse rather than single-muse, although I can do both.
I do have responsibilities outside of this site which take precedence over my activity here. However, I try to reply as often as possible (within 2-3 days at best, although I cannot always do so). When life gets busier, I would say that my replies come once to twice a week on average, although depending on the length of my replies and the happenings of the life, such a target may not be possible. Feel free to bump me after two weeks if you have not heard from me or if my absence has not been excused. I do have a tendency to ghost, sometimes for 1+ month at a time, but I will always come back. I require a partner who is okay with that. Overall, I will always be considerate of my partner's well-being and availability (this next month will be busy, so it may be a few weeks until you reply? That's alright!) and I would appreciate the same courtesy in return.
If you add me, I expect you to message me first; I will do the same. If you're interested in writing with me, *please* come with some plot ideas, whether they be your own musings or a prompt on my blog that caught your eye. I don't care of your ideas are vague or underdeveloped; we'll build on them together. That's the whole point, after all! It's just *very* frustrating when I'm expected to come up with something, and frankly, it makes the idea of writing with you much less appealing, as it gives me the impression that you won't pull your own weight when it comes to driving the story forwards while roleplaying later on.
