They make their preparations. Shige makes sure everyone understood what needs to be done before they split. The plan is the following:
Jager and Xin will enter from the front door and get welcomed inside. As soon as they get the chance, they'll have to look for the remaining loyal soldiers and free them.
Shige, Chan and Vikk will get ported straight inside the manor, in the secret room. Others will join later one at time with Chen. Once enough, less experienced will guard the two doors through the inside, locking them. Others will kill the guards in the house and get to the old man, using him to force zishian to give up.

After the tests with Cloud, he returns to the 'feud' and basically while they have dinner together, he decides to bring up the matter.

"I want to take back my Lianxi. I could have a plan but we might use your help too." Shige looks at them all. "We can poison the water in a way that will only hurt Zishian. It is not said they will die but they will be weakned for sure." The...beginning of a plan.

Once he is done talking with Chen and finishing to hear what he needed, he approaches Cloud and sits near him. He also leans his head against his shoulder, aiming to have a cuddle. "...you don't have to do it if you don't want." He says in a very low tone to his ear.

Days pass by and eventually the news reaches them. He sent a messanger to Xinwang to bring a message and another gift for the Baroness.
When the messanger returns, he gives Shige the news of what happened, even the dead abonimation on the road.
It is shocking but immediately Shige begins to organize for an expediction. He himself joins the mission, with a few good soldiers, they are about ten. To his surprise, Cloud insists to accompany him. He tries to convince him to stay but it doesn't work.
They travel to Xinwang, bringing two carriages to save some supplies. They come across the dead abonimation and it causes some fear in his soldiers but they proceed.
"Look for any possible survivor and supply." They all work hard to retrieve as much as possible. They can't find any survivor so they only put together the bodies and bury them, paying their respects to the deads.
On the way back, they come across the other abomination and they need to fight it. Soldiers' fear empowers Shige for good and they take it down but they count one loss. It might not seem much but it is still disappointing.

They continue to head back but they get interrupted by a trap on the way, tripping a horse and seriously injuring it and its owner for the fall.
They have to stop but almost right after, they get attacked. Soldiers of Zhae. The fight is harsh, Shige doesn't step back but he is the main target so most try to attack him. His eyes turn bright red in the fight, he is scary, but it is not enough. Like Zhae sent all their forces just to attack and kill him.
Loyal soldiers defend him with their lives and try to convince him to escape in the forest. He decides to do it, telling his men left to give in, to preserve their lives.
He takes Cloud while his men create a distraction and they flee in the forests. It is not so easy, since they continue to be followed by a few.
He runs, holding Cloud's arm. Through the trees they manage to avoid some arrow. Eventually Shige decides to hide and attack back all the sudden since they don't seem many. He fully uses his Oni powers and all the fear he absorbed.
He doesn't get out of it unharmed but he kills all ten. His shoulder is bleeding and he holds it with one hand. He takes Cloud and starts to proceed, not knowing exactly where but the farthest possible from there.
