She's considered as a hero to the magical creatures of the world but she just rescues those who need it. She doesn't act like the normal pirate. Her goal in life is to end slavery in as many places as she can, she doesn't see the need in hurting people unless they deserve to be hurt. She takes care of people, makes sure they're safe before moving on. No man left behind. Ever.
She's also traumatised. Certain things set off anxiety attacks, she has days where she doesn't want anything to do with anyone and in the end, she's a broken woman with a hard shell.

Bio: Selina was born and raised in a Fairy village, not far from other fae villages like the Pixie village. She was bright and fun, helped the forest remain healthy and often explored places she probably wasn't supposed to. One day, when she was 17 however, demons raided the village. Everything was stolen, Fairies were slaughtered all around her and everyone's wings were ripped from their backs, including her own. It was a miracle she survived. When her wings were ripped from her back, she barely managed to scramble away before they could kill or take her for the slave trade. From her hiding place, she could only watch as they carted away her friends and the fairy children, leaving the elder fairies behind- dead.
She searched for help in the other villages, but they too had been raided, with very few survivors to be found. In her search, she was healed by a healer Pixie, aided a young human boy who was caught up in the mess and together, they found refuge in a human village.
Over the next year, they healed and recovered from the raids, never truly going back to the way they were, but deciding they needed their friends and families back, so they gathered a small crew, stole the ship of a man who had too much money for his own good and set sail.

Growing up, he learned to make use of a walking stick, a guide dog and eventually, echolocation. It started off with him clapping to figure out how close something was to him and has evolved to a quiet clicker in his pocket. In high school, Dylan was severely bullied for his blindness, resulting in depression that lasted a few years. After high school, he perused writing, wanting others to disabilities to know it was possible to live a normal life like anyone else.
As a child, he never had the money to receive cataract surgery but as an adult, he has finally put enough aside to get it. He's just unsure if he should go through with it or not.
