Bio: Krishna was born to an Frost Giant mother and a Warlock father on an icy mountain. His father already had a 17 year old son at the time, Erik, who, by the time Krishna was three, had left the mountains to pursue his own goals, leaving the three alone.
It wasn't so bad not having a sibling to play with, but it did make the cross breed a rather quiet child who wasn't fond of interacting with others whenever given the chance to. His father had him study magic and his mother taught him how to defend himself should the need ever arise. He lived his life, cold but loved, quiet but ready for adventure.
His parents eventually passed away in his late teens, leaving him on his own on that frozen mountain where he remained until the Opal pirates showed up, in need of help. A crew member had been cursed by a sea witch and was slowly dying. So, he climbed down the mountain with them and only ever returned to fetch his belongings, as he was offered a position on their crew.
Since then, he learned what it was to be warm and came to realize that he absolutely hated the cold- which was quite unfortunate considering his body is naturally cold thanks to his mothers genes.

Bio: Iva grew up on an island full of scholars. The scholars were located on that island to keep them focused, allowing no distractions so that they may continue to unlock secrets about the world. Books, artefacts and many other treasures were brought to them to study. Technically, the scholars were not allowed to intermingle in any other way than a professional manner but naturally, no one listened. Many were taken back to their homes after having children and were replaced. Some even returned after their children were grown. Iva was someone that got away with remaining on the island though as a child. Why? Because her parents were two of the top scholars and the others dreaded losing them, so they kept her hidden.

She learned so much on that island, was loved by everyone and even saw her fair share of strange things just from remaining on the same damn island all her life.

One day, a pirate ship docked on the island in hopes of replenishing supplies. That's how Iva met the Opal Pirates. Their captain asked her if there was anywhere they could buy supplies from the village people but since their necessities were shipped to them, there was no way they could possibly sell them anything. And she told them that. Iva didn't stop there though. She pulled out a book she often scribbled in and even pulled out a couple small maps that she had copied. She explained to them exactly where they could find some supplies on the island through natural resources and then nearby islands where they could get their hands on the rest.

All throughout their short stay on the island, she shared information with them, as long as they returned the favour, about their voyages and so they went back and forth for approximately two or three days. It was as they were leaving that she pleaded to go with them. It wasn't a hard decision to make. They could see just how eager she was and how useful she would be and she seemed content enough with leaving, so they allowed her- so long as they wouldn't be hunted down for taking her.

Bio: Ira was only five when he became a slave. Taken away from who he could only assume was his parents, he was sold for a very high price to a rich family with a teenage girl who wanted a pet. Not to say he was treated horribly though. He was loved dearly actually. From what he saw at least. The girl took care of him, make sure he was always clean, his hair was always as soft as it could possibly be. The only condition for these nice things was that he wasn't allowed to talk unless asked to. She gave him everything to make sure he was comfortable but he was never happy. He had vague memories of his past, being free, and he wanted it back. He wasn't allowed out of sight- or the girl would scream out, demanding he be found immediately.

He was discovered and taken in by the Opal Pirates when he was 19, bringing him into a life where he could make his own choices, look how he wants to look. It was strange, being allowed to talk, so he didn't speak much, trying to get used to it. He chooses not to sleep on a bed- because he want's to feel some discomfort, he does the messier chores on the ship because he's sick of always being spotless, etc, etc.
