Aqua, or capitalized AQUA (heroine's adopted name: real name is Rebecca O. Hydro, or Rebecca Oxidane Hydro) is an highest-ranking General in the Army, and at the same time, an formidable user of hydrokinesis (water elemental superpower). Aqua has an interesting yet troublesome personality. She is high-spirited, cheerful, and carefree, but rarely thinks about the consequences of her actions, and has always killed her villains, instead of just capturing them. While she doesn't force her beliefs onto others heroes he met through her lifetime, Aqua always acts or speaks on her whims; so, she can behave very inappropriately in many situations. It is also very easy to taunt Aqua with jeers or lure her with praises. Since Aqua, as an goddess, thrives on praise/worship points, she usually performs good deeds, but then immediately ruins her own merits by seeking praises aggressively and persistently. Also, while many of her 'good deeds' turn out fine, Aqua is very short-sighted, and some of these "good deeds" actually turn out to be complete disasters. One of Aqua's positive personality traits though is her "honesty", and she's also stronger than even all of her students combined. She is incapable of lying, or more precisely, she has no concepts of lying, and she is so bad at it, that her lies give themselves away. When caught lying, all it takes are pinches to her cheeks for Aqua to reveal everything. On the other hand, she is very gullible, and does not believe people/humans can lie to her. When Aqua is being stubborn though, others may also fib a little to make Aqua more agreeable. While Aqua thinks very highly of herself due to her Rank, she actually has an business sense. She's also very strategic on battlefields; Despite also having the ability to move imperceptibly fast, she already defeated an legion of vampires and werewolves alone due to her having knowledge of their weaknesses e.g. holy water, silver bullets, etc. Despite all of this, Aqua has shown a genuine and charismatic side of her. She is also known for treating all her students fair and well, and being for them when they're in angst, a good example being when Aqua embraced Klade while he mourned over the death of his mom. By letting them do as they please, this in turn inspires their intense loyalty and devotion towards her, making her followers the strongest offensive force of The Base. Aqua has also shown to be quite honorable, as she enjoys to challenge an opponent that can give her a great battle. She holds special respect for strong opponents, which she shows when she openly recognizes Begard as a warrior rather than a "simple big man". Although she is unabashedly bloodthirsty and heartless against villains, she keeps it from dominating her judgement. If she sees that the battle is too much for her soldiers, she orders a retreat and doesn't risk heavy losses. Like in the first and second time with Volcana; The third time, Aqua executed her. While she once twistedly tortured Kornya, an mummy that was Volcana's ally, she can be forgiving to failed servitors, provided that they aren't complete failures, and gives them the benefit of the doubt if the failure wasn't their fault.

Aqua is a slender and beautiful young woman with long light blue hair, and dark blue eyes. She wears a general's apparel with long sleeves, a blue scarf on her neck, and high-heeled boots. She also has a tattoo on her chest, which actually means "Pure like water" on Ancient languages. In the anime, Aqua is shown to have a porcelain color skin (most likely due to the cold climate of her home village). Her breasts size were also inconsistent (at times appearing normal to being exaggeratedly big), compared to her manga's counterpart. Aqua is considered to be the strongest soldier in The Army and the overall strongest one in The Bases. Even counting her 2 defeats by Volcana before killing her, she was only defeated by her due to letting her guard down and her arrogance twice. She possesses not only great skill, but also power that potentially puts her at an continental to country threat. Aqua possesses a powerful imperial artifact called Brilliance, an crystal that allows her to use cryokinesis as well. The crystal needs to be at least washed once by the blood of who's using it (that being Aqua). She uses it to create icicles, freeze people to death and more. She has been able to freeze an entire lake within moments with her ability. Her manuscript she nicknamed "Mr. Old Sheets", allows her to freeze/stop time. She has another magic card known as Thick Beak that allows her to create an army of ice-made giant shoebill-birds. Aqua possesses a strong sixth sense, being able to sense others from long distances. She was perfectly able to sense that someone was spying on her, without even seeing who they are. Her sense of smell is strong as she confirmed that it was Kornya after checking his scent (probably the worst one, of an undead mummy), before killing him, capturing him to throw him off of an cliff. Aqua also has an extensive knowledge of human physiology, based from her experience as an "villain torturer". This is mainly shown when dissecting Zane Phoenix's body. She also knows where exactly to strike in the human body at points that are fatal and where they're not. Overall, she is an creative, intelligent being that comes up with new methods of torture, new torture and moves for her enemies.

Aqua has an pet dragon named Bladewolf, which she hatched from an dragon egg she thought it was an... dinosaur egg. He is pyrokinetic instead of hydrokinetic though, making like her counterpart.

Also, she was totally the opposite of Aqua in appearance, resembling kinda disturbing and creepy traits having an distorted face, decayed teeth, etc. She was also responsible for the deaths of millions of people in the north of the country (Aqua's Base is in South Australia, for those who don't know), and several other conflicts and wars on accounts of rebellions. She has committed the second largest number of horrible atrocities only behind Myross in her Forest, an giant cave ogre-cyclop (now extinguished as well), but who was also responsible for the death of millions innocent lives.
Following Aqua's own words when she slaughtered Volcana, Volcana was an "Sadistic, barbarous and bloodthirsty sorcerer who lacked empathy for people and animals of whom she deemed weak despite appearing to care about those working under her, killing butterflies, but summoning giant flies to help her, for example. Ever since she was motivated by Myross' philosophy ("The strong survive and the weak perish"), she has gone through torturous activities that involved putting her "enemies" through great pain, both physically and emotionally. She had no qualms about her ruthlessness in an battle and killing innocent people to get what she wants, and rationalized her behavior with her father's old creed. I want her and her father to burn in Hell as we speak right now..."
Aqua usually carries a long rapier that she wields with her into combat. She has shown herself to be quite adept with this weapon even without having to resort to her super powers. She is shown to be a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant as well, possessing great physical strength, such as when she sent Longhorn (an giant rhino that weighs 150 tons) crashing to the ground in one kick, or when she slammed Viktor Soulton through the ground in their first meeting (Soulton was in the 2 meters range only by his height). She was also able to slam Ayurda into a wall with relatively little effort. Although the latter was converted to be her apprentice as well.
She used to have an book she found containing several rare spells, even involving summoning of the dead, exchange souls, hypnotize, and how to do them, but Bladewolf accidentally ripped it apart, and ate it. Of course Aqua didn't liked his attitude; she gave him an beatdown, then later shooted his right wing with an orb of energy. There was some serious battle driven between son and mom, and that's why we can often see Bladewolf flying more by his left wing than his right.
One of her surnames "Retaw" is actually water spelt backwards.
