She saw some Slytherin students laughing at her as she was pulled out of the water. Her secret was spread throughout the school the next day, and people bullied her. Another night, her journal was stolen and her worst fear, getting kidnapped, was put in the hands of Slytherin. They trapped her, questioned her and did many other dark things. Erica has survived, though, and her friends had all stayed by her side. She continues to live in fear of being captured...

Bio (background story): Rayn's parents died when she was young, so she lived in an orphanage. She loved dancing, but the other orphans were jealous of her talent. At the age of 16, Rayn met Azalea Krick, who was amazing at drawing. She finally had a friend. One day, Rayn was walking back to her room after lunch. A hand clamped over her mouth, and she was bound and gagged by the cruel orphans. They put a blindfold on her, and when she could see again, she saw Azalea in the same position. They watched in horror as the orphans threw Azalea's coveted sketchbook into a fire and tossed Rayn's ballet shoes out of a window. Little did the orphans know, this triggered their powers. The shoes and sketchbook moved back to them, mysteriously unharmed. Azalea and Rayn broke through their bonds and watched the orphans run away. The two elementals packed their things and talked to the head of the orphanage about their plight. She smiled, revealing her own power, and told them about a place just for elementals. She taught them how to get there and, soon, Azalea and Rayn were off. They share an apartment and are planning on adding two more girls, Jazlyn Willis and Carnation Ottley. They go to a high school for elementals.
