In a laboratory hidden underneath an uninhabited tundra, a computer was analysing a peculiar object. The object, an orange sphere with two red stars on its surface, was delivered by a drone the previous day. The creator of the lab had tracked it down with the hopes of learning how to harness it as an energy source.

Having finished its analysis, the computer transmitted the results to the elderly doctor's home computer. The doctor will never read them, however, because he had a heart attack earlier that day.

Having completed its job, and unaware of its creator's demise, the computer shut down most of the lab's systems and waited for further orders. Only three other machines remained active. The communication system, to receive the doctor's new orders. The maintenance drone, to keep the lab in peak condition.

And the laboratory's guardian, a powerful and ever alert sentry-bot. Programed to terminate any and all beings that would invade its home.


(For now, instead of playing as my own adventurer, I intend to have more of a gamemaster role, playing as "obstacles" that the others may have to deal with.)

The ten-foot tall mechanical sentry immediately detected a lifeform outside the laboratory. However, it had been programmed to not attack unless someone unauthorized enters the lab.

Remaining cautious, the mech moved in front of the entrance and aimed its mounted guns in the door's direction. If the lifeform is an intruder, they will have to get past Artisel, one of the most destructive robots on the planet.

Amarath stands atop a large rock pillar in the middle of a wasteland while throwing his four-star dragonball up and catches it again in regular intervals. He scouts the barren wasteland around him. He then holds his dragonball in place and studies it. “How will I ever find 6 more of these things. Where do I even start ?” He lets out a big sigh and flies away.

Seth continues to walk around until he smells something strange and he follows the scent to a dead tree with a hole in it. "What's in there?" He wonders and then changes into his normal form and reaches in and grabs something and gets it out and looks at it "The 7 star ball great" He grins and puts it into his travel pack then leaves the forest to get something to eat.
