Growing up, Grayson's father was very strict and harsh on him. His father had particular views and beliefs, and he tried to impose those on his wife and son. Any behaviour that Grayson displayed was analysed by his father, and if he wasn't meeting his impossible standards, he would hear about it.

Grayson succeeded academically, but he had always been creative, and interested in music and the arts. When he chose drama as one of his subjects, his father demanded he choose something else, something more "manly", but he refused. He loved performing and would star in every single production put on by his school. His mother would always be in the audience watching, his father would stay at home.

During his teenage years, Grayson mustered up the courage to come out to his parents and tell them he was gay. His mother was accepting and kind, but the same could not be said for his father. While the man never laid a finger on his son, he would use his words to attack him, telling him how much of a disappointment he was and regularly calling him disgusting. Eventually, Grayson couldn't take any more abuse and moved in with a friend to escape his father. The two haven't spoken since.

After graduating from Drama School, Grayson would work part-time while he auditioned for various productions, starting off small as just a stand-in or part of the ensemble. Over time he would land bigger roles, creating a reputable name for himself in the theatre industry.

Adam doesn't remember his parents ever being around during his childhood. He was raised by his grandmother and considers her to be more of a parental figure than anyone else. He has always been closed off to others, keeping his private life locked away, it does sometimes make it difficult for him to form friendships and relationships, especially with his colleagues who are intimidated by him.

He wasn't necessarily popular in high school, most of the time he just kept his head down and focused on his work, earning himself good grades so he could go on to pursue his dream career of being a detective.

Neither the good guy nor the bad guy, Simon has spent his life siding with whoever or whatever benefits him the most. In his youth, he was rebellious, hot-tempered, and unpredictable, but as he got older, he learned to control his emotions better and honed in on his skills.

Simon had an intense and full-on relationship with his ex-girlfriend, which led to unplanned pregnancy in his early 20's. At the time he was terrified and unprepared, but the moment his daughter; Riley was born, he became a doting father. The relationship between Simon and his ex grew volatile, and one day she packed up her things and left, taking Riley with her. Now, Simon rarely sees his daughter despite fighting for custody. His ex uses their daughter as a pawn and cruelly prevents him from seeing her. Few things get to Simon, but not being able to see his daughter is often unbearable.

He works for the local police force and has been known to take bribes and bend the rules on many an occasion. Many locals would label him as being a "crooked cop", but have never challenged him on his behavior.

Victoria's childhood was a little different from others'. Her mother suffered from multiple mental health illnesses and as a result, she was taken to stay permanently in a psychiatric facility. This was tough on Victoria, as she needed a mother, especially during her teenage years. Her father tried his best to take care of her, but he worked long hours and missed his wife.

Over time, Victoria saw less and less of her mother, her visits became less frequent as her health deteriorated. When her mother passed away, Victoria took it badly, she started drinking and neglected her schoolwork. Things took a turn for the worse when Victoria was assaulted at a house party, she became withdrawn and barely left her room.

Victoria spent most of her time in isolation until one day something inside her clicked. She decided that she would focus on getting into a career where she could help people, similar to her mother. After finishing school, she went on to study to be a psychiatric nurse and works as a trainee nurse in a Psychiatric Hospital. She maintained a good relationship with her father despite his drinking habits, and he is very proud of her efforts.

• Victoria is afraid that if she has children, she could pass on her mother's mental illness to them, as it's likely that it is genetic
• She suffers from insomnia and night terrors, a result of her assault, and has to sleep with a light on
• Sometimes she worries that she will end up just like her mother, and will be locked away, this is one of her biggest fears
• She has a good singing voice and can also play the piano

• Victoria is quite an anxious person, but she doesn't let it show, especially when she is working
• She doesn't like to open up to others about her past, she finds it a little difficult to trust people and this has an impact on her relationships with others

• She sometimes feels guilty that she couldn't do more to help her mother and secretly blames herself

2. i roleplay 18+ themes in my stories where suitable, so it goes without saying that if you're underage you shouldn't be here. go play roblox or something. don't be dishonest.

3. i will tell it like it is, i don't go out of my way to offend people, i'm not a d*ck, but if you constantly harass me or bug me, or you're being annoying, i will let you know, same as if your replies are two sentences long and intelligible, i will let you know

4. i expect the same length or thereabouts in reply. if it's less but the quality is great, i don't mind

5. i'm not a slave, so don't expect to add me and have me pick everything, teamwork makes the dream work

6. i can't live on the site, although i'll be here as often as i can, i do work ooc
