Murktown plot ( one of my favs

Okay, so this plot idea takes place during modern times in a town called Murkton. It's the most backwater town with a population of a little over 100 - 150 people. It's always snowy there because it's right on the border of Canada in middle America. Bad internet, far away from normal civilization. Of course, there is something special about this town. It is the bridge between the seen and unseen worlds. Ghosts, demons, and monsters can be seen with the naked eye and interact with the living with complete ease in this town whereas in the rest of the world, sightings are sparse and rare. Demons and ghosts rarely being able to interact with the world as well. In Murkton there are no boundaries. Of course most of the population cant tell anyway because they are REALLY REALLY dumb and drink lead water...BUT not all of them.

Living in this town is their protector. Ziro Ironclaw. A mentally unwell monster and demon hunter who was born as a " Spiritmancer ". He was born with two abilities. First at all times he can always see spirits and demons that would be completely invisible to most. At all times they are visible to him and where most ghosts will pass right through someone, Ziro can physically interact with them. His second ability is the power to use a specific book. The Necronomicon. An ancient book over 1000 years old used to make contracts with monsters and demons. Every page documents a monster of demon and those in the book are unable to harm the owner of the book. They will also serve the owner of the book in return for a specific sacrifice. It could be blood, money. a cookie anything that they want at the time. Murkton town draws in all kinds of spirits good and bad...but the bad ones will always make their presence known most to hurt others. Ziro has unhealthily dedicated his existence to protecting this town by any means necessary. He fights monsters and demons with his two sisters.

His life is a revolving door never-ending and full of pain...until someone new moves to Murktown. Your character. What are they doing in Murktown? Idk. What is their relationship with Ziro and his sisters going to be? Idk. That's up to us to decide. It better be decided quickly though because soon after your arrival those with nefarious intentions will arrive soon after. Those who wish to use the dark creatures of Murktown to their benefit and use its power for themselves.

This is a very in-depth and exciting plot for me. I do plan on adapting this into a book eventually at some point.
