Maribel is the embodiment of innocence, from her thoughts all the way to her actions, it's difficult to find anything evil or dark about her. She has a very kind-hearted soul that once you get to know shines brightly. She tends to appear quite lively the longer you are around her, even though she is usually quiet and reserved. While she is considered to have average intelligence, she is a very inquisitive person, always wanting to know more about people and the world around her, even if she's too nervous to speak up and ask questions.

She tends to remain unnoticed by people, remaining quiet and unable to speak up for herself so it's rare that the spotlight is put on her. She has grown used to living like this, but it has affected her emotionally, to the point that she yearns for attention, good or bad. Her good nature and desire to be wanted or needed can easily put her in bad situations, from people taking advantage of her kindness, to more scary and disturbing situations like abusive relationships. She has a bad habit of trusting people, even after they have wronged her multiple times in the past, always giving chances for people to change even if it's impossible for them to change


She wants nothing more than to gain acceptance from people, and any sort of disappointment in her from others would affect her more than a normal person. It is difficult for her to have healthy friendships or relationships since she isn't good at discerning good and bad relationships, along with the fact that she doesn't have much confidence in herself.
