STELLA TALKING TO STRIKER OVER THE PHONE, ALSO HER MOST FAMOUS QUOTE.
Fine. I have no desire to stay in the place of a traitorous embarrassment. You have fallen from what little grace you had... and I know you'll pay for it.

STELLA AFTER STOLA'S TOLD HER TO LEAVE HIS HOUSE, WHILE ALSO TELLING HIM THAT HE WOULD PAY FOR WHAT HE DID.
Princess Stella of Ars Goetia is the main antagonist of the adult animated web series Helluva Boss.

She is the vindictive wife and archenemy of Stolas, the mother of Octavia, and a member of the royal Goetia family of Hell. After finding out her husband cheated on her with the imp Blitzo, she ruthlessly plotted his assassination and plans to kill him for his infidelity using any means necessary.

Biography

Her appearance in the pilot is extremely minor and doesn't give much detail to her character. It is established though that she doesn't approve of Stolas' affairs with Blitzo due to Blitzo being an imp. However, before then it is established that their relationship wasn't a very healthy one from the start either but Octavia did imply that they didn't always hate each other, but it is unknown how their relationship fully started. When Octavia cried for them, Stella refused to respond and told Stolas to handle it, (either she was being selfish or its Stolas's turn to check on her). Stella's past is still unknown but might explain later or not. In the second season premiere, however, it's possible she always had a vicious temper, even as a child.
Loo Loo Land

In her first characterize appearance, she is angrily ranting at Stolas for sleeping with an imp in their bed and storms out, destroying some of Stolas' plants as she does.

The Harvest Moon Festival

The end of the episode establishes her as a dangerous villain when it is revealed that she hired Striker to assassinate Stolas. When Striker calls to tell her he failed due to I.M.P. getting in the way and ensures her it wouldn't happen again, she warns him that it better not as she tells him to deal with anybody who gets in his way.

Ozzie's

While she only appears as a figment of Stolas's imagination, the episode reveals that Stella divorced her husband, and split custody of Octavia. By the time of the Episode proper, Octavia is living with Stella for the weekend, though it is not confirmed if Stella has called her plans off or is continuing them.

Seeing Stars

She does not appear in the episode, but can be heard having an argument through the phone with Stolas. Most of what she says is not really understandable, other than her mentioning that she'll take everything Stolas owns and some squawking.

Western Energy

Personality

Stella is a very wrathful demon who has grown to hate her husband, Stolas, due to his open relationship with Blitzo, however, she has made it very clear numerous times she is not concerned her husband cheated on her but rather is enraged he did so with an imp, which she takes as a personal insult.

This brings Stella's second trait to light, namely a deep hatred of imps, who are regarded as the lowest class of demon in Hell, as such she sees them as servants at best. (by though she will happily employ an imp to assassinate her husband for her)

Violence is Stella's main go-to in regards to solving any problem but she does not seem to abuse her daughter. She is, however, very distant and does not seem to have a strong maternal side — instead, it is Stolas who seems to care for Octavia's emotional needs. It is unknown how much Stella provides for Octavia in other matters, although Stolas states that the two go out on weekends, confirming that she does spend time with her. She also got angry at Stolas when she believed he was trying to turn Octavia against her.

Stella is also shown to be sadistic, taunting Stolas at every chance she gets, and when Stolas told her to get out of his life, she didn't care about him or what he thought of her, and even telling Stolas that he had fallen from grace and that he will pay for it. Aside from her incredibly short temper, she appears to only treat her husband with mockery and contempt, to the point where she admits that she enjoys tormenting him.

She also shows signs of sociopathic behavior in that when angered she will not hesitate to resort to bullying, and when her words fail, she will resort to physical violence, as seen when she tried to strike Stolas after he stood up to her and demanded a divorce. Furthermore, she is very concerned with her public image and thus has others do her evil deeds if said deeds can't be easily hidden, such as her hiring Striker and how during her fight with Stolas she tried to threaten him with her brother, being momentarily surprised when Stolas no longer feared the wrath of her family.

Despite all of Stella's sociopathic characteristic, she seems to have a close relationship with her brother, Andrealphus, as she is implied to be worried of what he'll think of her divorcing Stolas and is seen joking around with him.

Stella is also rather single-minded and short-sighted in her efforts to kill Stolas. She was willing to demand Striker to kill him over the phone with both her husband and daughter present at the family’s dinner table, not even being sneaky about it. She also failed to consider that all of Stolas’ rights and possessions would be passed to Octavia should he die, leaving her with nothing. Stella did not seem to care about this much, with Andrealphus having to convince her that it would be best to leave him alive for now as to have time to gain the upper hand. Despite her immense hatred for her husband and vice versa, she was willing to call Striker off from killing him, albeit reluctantly.
