Several scattered all over her flesh from centuries worth’ of wars and fights she’s been involved in. None particularly prominent and she is able to hide them from her ‘human’ form with the usage of glamours.

~Personality ~
Playful, subtly controlling, self-serving, independent and, at times, quite crude.
‘Petra’ doesn’t care much about people around her and refuses to admit she ‘needs’ anyone. She doesn’t - it’s simple as that. She doesn’t get attached easily and prefers to instead observe and /influence/ those around her - she finds their trists and troubles and dramas so very amusing...being involved in them? Not so much.
Though she loves the feeling of pulling the strings in the background, prompting the lives of those around her to slowly crumble. The power-hunger is real, with her.

Red wine, the night, the moon, observing the intricacies of mortals around her, the arts, sculptures

~Dislikes~
Fruity cocktails, men who think they own the world and everything in it, being underestimated.

~Habits~

Insomnia, “anti-social personality disorder” (being inside of a human vessel isn’t easy!)

~Biography~
Arisha - or, ‘Petra’ - is an ancient demonic entity. She is not as old as some others of her kin but neither is she ‘young’ - Arisha is somewhere in-between, though age matters little to her.
So much time has passed that she scarcely recalls her youth but should her memory serve her well then she was a mortal, once, long ago. She is mortal no longer, clearly.
A sinful woman in life, she grew up in ancient Mesopotamia, the daughter of a debauched man of excessive wealth - her father was the governor of ancient Samaria. Even as a child she grew up amongst the most deprived of acts both violent and sexual, seedlings planted into her mind from a young age. It was no surprise then, really, that she became a murderess.

She can still taste her father’s blood on her tongue when she stabbed him through the heart. And she could still hear the silent, sobbing pleas of her dying husbands on their wedding bed, crying for her to spare them as she dug her nails through their flayed flesh, adorning her skin in their blood.

Ah, but that was so long ago now. After she was inevitably caught by the Assyrian government and executed for her murderous crimes she found herself in Hell. And the rest was history.
She doesn’t really do the whole ‘murder’ thing anymore unless she /really/ feels the bloodlust building up - nowadays she likes to just...watch. And listen. And prompt others to do what she no longer does - the amusement in brings her to witness someone’s life falling apart is unlike any other.

(A/N - I call her the 'Demon Bride' because of her past.)

Giselle, The Golden Rose

~ The Basics ~

~Name~
Giselle, “The Golden Rose”

~Nicknames~
“Gigi” (by Dalia),

~Age~
Immortal goddess, but for a deity, she is still rather young compared to others in the pantheon, she isn’t primordial. Has only been an official goddess for the past four centuries. But what is time to a god, really?

~Gender~
Cis Female

~Preferred Pronouns~
She/her

~Species~
Minor goddess

~Orientation~
Pansexual

~ Physical Appearance ~
Giselle, as nearly every goddess, radiates an air of divine beauty. She is not the goddess /of/ beauty, that role goes to the primordial deity, Dalia, but she is still known within both the mortal world and amongst the pantheon as one of the most stunning goddesses. Her braided, glimmering rosy hair, her deep amethyst hues and full physique stand out as unapologetically gorgeous.

~Height~
5'6

~Weight~
145 Ibs

~Build~
Curvy hourglass physique, relatively chubby.

~Hair Color~
Rose gold

~Hair Style~
Delicately wavy, long. Her hair falls down her frame in gentle, subtle waves and reaches down to her calves. Often, she wears her hair in elaborate braids and adorns herself with beautiful flowers and silken ribbons.

~Eye Color~
Amethyst

~Skin Tone~
Ivory

~Scars~
N/A

~Personality ~
Giselle often appears to be, in the eyes of many deities and mortal worshippers, a virginal, naive figure symbolising the arts, the hearth and, to a lesser degree, love.
In reality, she is not naive - at least not /nearly/ as her own devotees and some of the other gods portray her as. She is not a fool - this world is filled with horrors untold and though not as old nor as wise as some of the other gods, she has seen her fair share of terrors.

She has seen the ugly, the dreadful and the blood-stained chaos which occurs in the world - and so, she wraps herself in silks and pastels and beauty of all kinds, she is the patron goddess of creativity and culture and music and art - those blessed by the goddess are talented, skilled artisans and artists alike.
She is a passionate creature who tries to remain calm and balanced in shaky, stressful situations, but often fails to keep her emotions in check. Charismatic by trade, though she tends to keep to herself, to her territory and land and her cult. In times of peace, she would more than happily traverse through the world to meet with other gods, but when peace is nowhere to be found she instead dwells in her own temples and land, notoriously known for refusing to get involved with wars and conflicts. She thinks of them as childish and below her.

It cuts further down, however, with an unspoken fear of dependency. She likes her creative solitude, surrounding herself with closed-off beauty and glamour and art. She is /safe/ by herself, with her followers and devotees, away from harm. She is independent. To truly become close to someone - mortal or divine - would be opening herself up to the potential tragedy of /dependency/. An inability to continue without someone else. She fears it greatly.

She is also a fickle thing - perhaps it is simply a result of her domain and passionate soul, but her emotions and sentiments can change rather rapidly. In the past, she has been known to entice mortals and even other gods only for her romantic intentions to be promptly cut short as her temperament alters as quickly as the tide breaks onto the shore. Unobtainable, in the eyes of most gods.

~Likes~
Art, painting, dancing, festivities, poetry, sculpting, every and any type of creative outlet, glamorous silken gowns and velvet fabrics, flowers, seashells.

~Dislikes~
Gratuitous violence, foolish disagreements, wars, cruel intentions, feeling dependant on someone or something

~Introvert or Extrovert~
Introverted

~ Primary Relationships ~

~Dalia~
Dalia is the primordial goddess of beauty and fertility and she is the major love goddess of the pantheon. The two goddesses have a somewhat sisterly relationship with one another, with Dalia often having her followers send gifts to Giselle’s temples and vice versa.

~ Extra ~

~Hobbies~
Drawing, painting, drinking, reading, the arts, playing the harp, singing, weaving.

~Scent~
Lilac and rosewater

~Biography~

Giselle was not born divine. Instead, she was a mortal and, after she gained the favour of Dalia, the primordial goddess transformed her into a deity in her own right.
Giselle scarcely tells other gods of her upbringing, waving her hand and saying it’s not important. Not anymore. It’s gone and over, now.

What is common knowledge to the other Gods is that she lived through a mortal war several centuries back - which, it just so happens, is where her dislike of destruction comes from - she was a skilled weaver and seamstress, often incorporating all sorts of artistic accents in her work. She was the poor daughter of a painter and pottery-maker who went off and died in that war when she was a young girl. In his memory, she picked up the hobby and worked tirelessly until she could produce the most stunning of artworks. The tale of a devoted, loving daughter honouring her deceased father in a time of danger and oppression.
Her devotion and love for her father, her desire to cherish his memory and to create beauty in adversity caused the light of Dalia to shine on her; the Goddess favoured the young woman and eventually granted her immortality, wishing to gift the dutiful daughter as well as eternally preserve her talents.

Much of her myth has since faded away, tarnished by time, and as with what happens to most myths - there are variations. Some say that she lived a relatively pleasant life and even settled down with a nice soldier boy in her village, others claim that her elusive lover ended up murdered by a jealous foe, others yet believe that Giselle wed into wealth and became a patron to artists and musicians, and another version of events states the young woman was only granted her divinity after she died, protecting her elderly mother from death - which thus touched not only the heart of Dalia but of the goddess Noca, the personification of the night and Queen of souls, who approved of Giselle’s newly found immortality.

When asked about the true order of things she merely smiles and tells them that her story is hers to recall, and hers alone.

As a goddess, she is beloved by her cult and by those who worship her all over their region. Evidently, she cares for her devotees and grants them many honours and, for the most part, grants their prayers if it is so in her power to do; but she knows she must also maintain some reverence and respect and intimidation in the hearts of mortals - she is their goddess, not their friend, however, naturally nurturing she may be.

There have been times in the past where she’s had to punish unruly worshippers or those who questioned her power. Her divine domains are not the most powerful - the arts, music, hearth and love are pleasantries that make life all that much greater and in the eyes of some humans struck with hubris she is a ‘weak’ goddess, especially with how her myths paint her as a sweet, innocent goddess. What they forget is that the hearth is a terribly important thing to ensure a healthy, happy home.

Lessons have to be taught, sometimes. Her punishments are never as harsh as they could be and are enough just to teach those who doubt her not to underestimate her own strength. She is a /goddess/, regardless of whether she is a minor one or not. Her close relationship with Dalia also serves well, for most mortals know that to offend the art goddess is to offend the goddess of beauty and family.

Charismatic, alluring, flirty and confident in her beauty to the point of vanity. She is easily frustrated and to some, it may seem like she cares little for the well-being of anyone but herself. In reality, however, she avoids meaningful relationships and friendships out of the fear of commitment and attachment. She protects herself with a facade of superiority and beauty to conceal her intense vulnerability. There is a big difference between ‘Amicitia’ and ‘Natalia’. ‘Amicitia’ is a persona she created, the talented model who’s giddy and playful and seductive. ‘Natalia’, at her core, is a woman who is afraid of losing those she loves and afraid of *herself*. She tends to push/pull the people she loves because she doesn’t love herself - so how can *they* love her?

~Biography~

Her biography differs slightly depending on the setting, but here is her normal backstory: (Below is her vampiric backstory for fantasy/supernatural roleplays!)

HUMAN:
The only daughter of Jan and Marzena Rosiek - Polish immigrants that moved from Kraków to England along with Irys Rosiek, Natalia’s aunt. Jan worked multiple low-end jobs, which didn’t pay well, much to Marzena’s dismay. She had expensive taste. Throughout her early childhood, Natalia’s parents fought often and violently, with many heated fights which she had to witness. Still, her father loved Natalia like nothing else in this world; she was his precious princess and though he couldn’t afford much Jan always did his best to provide for his daughter. Jan tragically died from a sudden, unexpected heart attack and left Marzena and Natalia alone in the world when the girl was merely nine. And thus, the only man who ever truly loved her died, and with him, any hope for her having a healthy future.

When Natalia was twelve, Marzena went on to remarry a man named Lucien Glidington, who became perversely obsessed with the young blonde. He saved them from near-poverty with his excessive wealth, but at what cost?
The cost of Natalia’s safety.

And, apparently, that was a cost Marzena was willing to pay, for she cared little about the harm happening to her own flesh and blood.

Her step-father is something Natalia does not like to look back on, because of his sexual and mental abuse of her. Her mother *knew* about it, but did nothing to stop it. In fact, she *blamed* Natalia for it - and, for this reason, it is her mother who Natalia resents more than anything else in this world.

For years, Natalia suffered her step-father’s and mother’s torment, being blamed for the harm which befell her. Natalia was always a pretty girl - but it made making friendships with other girls in school difficult, given how vindictive girls in school can be. So she spent her time alone, but she grew to be comfortable that way; nonetheless, she was terribly lonely.
She sought solace in religion, spending her free time at church, praying vehemently if only to cleanse herself of the filth her step-father forced upon her.

Enter Konrad.

A dream come true; her /salvation/ - so she believed.
Konrad was everything she could hope for; handsome, charming, charismatic, and oh-so-loving. He gave her the world - so it was at first. She believed he was going to take her far away from her suffering. That he was going to love her unconditionally, seeking his male validation that had been lacking for so many years.
The teenage girl fell so easily, not realising his intentions were impure, cruel, sinful.

He made her emotionally dependant on him, near-obsessed; she breathed for him, lived for him, would’ve /died/ for him - she needed him as she needed the sun to warm her skin and air to survive.
But to him, she was a temporary toy; something to play with and leave behind. He got a sick thrill from how much attention she dedicated to him, without dedicating the same to her - eventually he started asking her to sleep with him.
Natalia, ever-the-Catholic, refused him; she could not stop the sin Lucien was forcing onto her, but she would not forsake her faith further by willingly having non-marital sex; it was too bad, then, that Konrad wouldn’t take “No” for an answer.

His affection dwindled, making Natalia desperate for his favour to return to her - she pleaded and begged him to love her again, her sixteen-year-old heart wounded and unable to take the lack of his love, slowly shattering into a thousand pieces.

She was compelled to watch him cheat on her with various other girls, taunting her with the knowledge he could have anyone he wanted - he /chose/ to be with her despite her “prudishness”.

And yet, she stayed with him.
She needed him - /she would die without him/.
During this time, she developed her eating disorders, her desire to be attractive in his eyes and the pressure from her home life led to a life-long struggle with food and body ideals.

Until one night, when he had enough waiting around and took what he believed she ‘owed’ him, further ruining her fractured psyche.
And then, he abandoned her, apparently, his family moved away the following day, the only memory of his presence in her life was a broken heart, shattered soul and bruises on her wrists and thighs.

That was the night Natalia Rosiek died.
Her God had forsaken her.

From that point on, she felt as though she were an empty vessel wandering the earth.
On the eve of her seventeenth birthday, Natalia packed her things and ran - ran as far as she could go, having had /enough/ of everything. She stole as much money from Lucien as she was able to gather and left, going to [country of roleplay’s setting] and lived in the city. It was here that she was ‘discovered by a modelling agency and “Amicitia” was born.

She became the rising star she is today; a stunning model for a brilliant agency, wealthy and beloved by all - finally she was /adored/.

And yet, such a life is awfully superficial, as she soon came to find out.
Godless, forsaken and wounded.
With the world at her fingertips - but at what cost?

The cost of her sanity.

VAMPIRE BACKSTORY:

Natalia Anna Rosiek was born in 1916 to two Polish immigrants - Marzena and Jan Rosiek. Her parents argued often, mostly about money. Her father died when she was nine, having been stabbed to death in the streets after getting out a hefty loan from cruel individuals. Her mother remarried a man named Lucien Glidington soon after.

She befriended two boys from her street, Antonio and Elias Velez. She loved them both dearly and they were her closest friends. She and Antonio were always incredibly close and she was utterly in love with him. He was the first person she ever loved. The two of them were “childhood sweethearts”. Always together, *almost lovers*.

One night, Antonio rushed to her home with Elias, and she let them inside. Marzena and Lucien were away for the weekend for their anniversary. It was during that night that Natalia and Antonio made love for the first time, and she awoke only to find him and Elias gone, with only a note from Antonio with the promise of reunion. He’d murdered his abusive father and ran with Elias to hide from the consequences.

Natalia was alone.

Soon, however, her family moved away to France. WW2 happened, and Natalia was then forced to live in Nazi-occupied France. Her step-father was thrown into the army and forced to fight. Natalia and Marzena both tried to make ends meet despite the many supply shortages and Nazi oppression.
In her town, there was a young soldier boy and the son of a Nazi general who had a fondness for Natalia’s beauty, Egon Dreifuss. He constantly tried to force his affections upon Natalia, who refused them, still often thinking of Antonio and Elias and how they were, praying for them to still be alive whilst falling deeper into religion.
Some Allied force soldiers got stranded in her town and she hurriedly helped hide them. Amongst these young soldiers were two familiar faces - Antonio and Elia, sent on a mission to France to liberate the area. She hid them in her house, despite the risk of being caught by the Nazi officers who often surveyed the area.
She nursed them back to health and cared for them, all the while having to try and get any suspicion of her having Allied soldiers in her home on the low. In order to do this, she did become more...lenient with Egon’s advances for the sake of distracting him.

Over the next few weeks, she and Antonio started a passionate love affair and she fell deeper in love with him than she had ever done before. Soon, they got orders to return. Antonio begged Natalia to run back to America with him and she agreed.
Before they could, however, Natalia went missing.

She had been taken by Egon in the night and was ruthlessly raped by him before getting violently turned into a vampire. He sadistically declared it was her “punishment” and abandoned her alone in the woods to fend for herself, confused, distraught and ravenous.

The next thing Natalia knew, she awoke in the middle of the night, thirsting for blood. She tried to fight these new instincts, heading to her home. She didn’t know what day it was, but all she could think of was the hunger within.
She didn’t even know what she was doing when she attacked her mother, devouring her crimson blood until there was no drop of life within Marzena remaining.
Natalia was horrified at what she’d become, packing her things and immediately running away from her home, realising that Antonio and Elias had (fortunately) been long gone and were not at risk of...whatever she was.

Natalia spent the years after the war travelling constantly under different names, and moved from France to England, then spent a little while in Italy until, in 1975, she moved to [country of roleplay]. She lived a relatively normal life for the rest of the 20th century, moving around every decade or so under a new name. During this time, Natalia had countless lovers, desperate to fill the hole that Antonio had left in her heart. Yet, every time was the same - she was a beautiful woman but no one ever wanted *her*, just her body.

In the 2010s, “Amicitia” was ‘discovered’ for her beauty by a photographer called Gabriel Denouvelle, and soon started to be a modelling sensation, becoming in high demand over the years as her career developed.

Through the decades she tried anything - everything - to feel alive again. Drugs, alcohol, parties, sex - it never helped for long.

(the rest is optional and potential, it depends on the roleplay)

In 2013, she met Cyrus Halim, a werewolf with whom she fell deeply in love with. She was hesitant to be with him but he proved his love for her and the two soon married, after she was welcomed into his pack despite her vampiric status. In the eyes of the public, they were perfectly normal humans, and Amicitia continued to model and appear in public spaces.

Soon, Amicitia fell pregnant with Cyrus’ child and they were ecstatic. Amicita, however, was attacked by hunters one night when she was heavily pregnant, and Cyrus gave his life to save his pregnant wife.

She gave birth to Darius and had Cyrus’ pack helped her raise her fatherless son. She also threw herself into her career, to the point of overworking herself. Aside from modelling, she also launched a successful music career and even started to appear in acting. By the present day, She is incredibly famous. After Darius’ birth, Amicitia started to deal with her problems by heavy, excessive drinking, partying and f***ing.

She loves her son more than anything and knows that she isn’t a good mother. She wanted to be, but she just...couldn’t be what Darius needed her to be. Thankfully Auntie Zelia and Mariah were there to give her a helping hand.

On a trip to Italy, Amicitia met Fashion Designer Azelio Giovanni and had a rough love affair with him. Amicitia desperately didn’t want to be alone anymore, and she decided Darius needed a good second parental figure so she agreed to marry Azelio when he proposed to her. The marriage was posed as a wonderful event, but Amicitia only felt sour guilt in her heart, feeling as if she was betraying Cyrus by marrying a man who she did not love.
Azelio wanted to *own* Amicita, and cared little about her actual emotions and more so about her being *his* trophy wife. She continued her successful career in her large luxury penthouse, which she lived with Darius and Azelio. Amicitia suffered in her loveless marriage for the sake of her beloved son, who needed a bright, good future which she knew Azelio could provide.

Until she snapped.
