Background: Christian Salvatore was brought into this world through a secret affair between his Mother Lily Salvatore and the Stable Hand, Jed Bane, His mother lied to Giuseppe saying she was pregnant with his son. Overjoyed with the possibility of having a second son after Damon, He foolishly bought it, Till Christian was born, for fear of Giuseppe finding out about her being unfaithful, She wrapped Christian up in rags and hid him in a nearby well, and taking rags and covering them in blood she pretended to weep, Saying that she had lost the baby.
Lily waited till after Giuseppe fell asleep to return to the well and fact her bastard child, but when she returned Christian was gone, He was picked up by a few farmhands who heard his wailing and crying, They cared for him, soon taking him to a small town of Whitmore. He grew up, a strapping young man with a certain knack for gaining peoples trust, till one day he met a man named Trevor and heard his wild tales about the Doppelganger and the Original Family, He pushed it off as a Crazy story till Trevor sliced his arm and it healed instantly!
Perplexed Christian begged to be turned which Trevor happily agreed to if Christian would help him do one thing, Sure enough after hunting through the archives and stalking every Facebook page he could, He eventually found Elena Gilbert, shared the location and was turned into a Vampire, It was nothing that he dreamed of, He's a ripper and a part of him loves watching the head roll and savor the euphoric parties he always got invited too. Another part of him wants control, and is terrified of who he is. Currently he resides just on the outskirts of Mystic Falls

Prolonged ingestion is toxic and ultimately leads to the death of the witch. Once black scabs start appearing on their body, the infected witch has less than a week of life. There is no known cure to combat this disease.
Witchcraft: Witches are still susceptible to the powers of witchcraft. This is inclusive of mystical and dark objects. A siphoner can siphon the magic from a witch and prolonged exposure is said to lead to death.
Mortality: Despite their mystical attributes, witches are still human and share many of the same weaknesses as non-supernatural beings (e.g. age, decapitation, disease, heart-failure, suffocation, snapped neck, etc.). However, witches can temporarily get around this weakness through the use of protection spells.
Overexertion: The excessive use of magic can lead to disorientation, nose bleeds, unconsciousness, and if taken to the extreme, death.
Nature: It is said that Nature will always find a balance when witchcraft is performed, thus spells will always have loopholes. This means, among other things, that no being can be truly immortal.
Mystic Falls Founders Bell: An indestructible bell that amplifies the effects of the Staff of Arcadius when combined with the Maxwell Striker. When struck, it produces a high frequency that has some minor effects on witches and siphoners, giving them painful headaches. Apart from this, it does not affect their ability to perform magic and cast spells.

Background: When Kai went enraged over their parents decision to Pass him and Josette and to keep having kids till a new set of twins were born, he began to kill his siblings, 2 of them died and Kai stabbed Cas in his chest, believing he would bleed out he moved on to Josette and the twins, When Kai was focused on them, Cas mustered as much magic as he could and was able to prolong his life till he could escape, Finally when The Coven and Kai were out of sight he ran away from the wretched house in Portland, Oregon and collapsed in the hospital parking lot, where he was picked up and rushed into surgery, Being that his family wasn't in the system neither was he, when he came too, he slipped out of the hospital with a simple invisibility charm and found his way in an altercation with Witch Hunters. He was saved by the Mikaelson and in return for being saved. He became one of the witches on their roster, traveling alongside them. He still has nightmares of Kai and when he closes his eyes all he sees is his deranged brothers face. And he is terrified of Klaus.
