Demon Slayer OC
Name: Sky?
Age: 14-16
Appearance: Sky is a 5’8 Japanese male with an average build. He’s not too muscular but not skinny either, he has black hair with very dark blue tips. He wears a full black Demon Slayer uniform with no Haori.
Summary: Sky woke up one day in an abandoned burned down house with blood on his hands. He had no recollection of how he got there or why. He was wearing a Black Uniform that belonged to the Demon Slayer corps as well as two solid black Nichrin swords with dark blue edges. With no memory of anything except for how to use his breathing form and the act of total concentration he tries to live life as a civilian, occasionally killing demons when he stumbles upon them.
Personality: Sky is incredibly optimistic and kind. He can be serious at times when he’s faced with a challenge. He doesn’t typically get phased by things easily and often gets driven by his emotions. He’s typically mellow and quiet, being a naturally akward person.
Abilities/Skills: Sky uses Hope breathing which he believes is a variation of Love breathing. Hope breathing is meant to be an offensive technique consisting of fast attacks and dodges. It typically switches out a users ability to block or parry, leaving them vulnerable to attacks, in exchange for multiple quick attacks. He only knows a few breathing techniques to which he gains recollection of more techniques as he faces demons in battle.
First Form: Clear Opening - A user dashes at an enemy aiming for the neck before switching directions and aiming for their torso with their second sword, landing multiple slashes.
Second Form: Second Rush - A user will rush at their opponent sending out a powerful slash before dashing back and without a pause rush at them for a second slash.
Seventh Form: Constant Slash - A powerful and fast attack leaving a user completely vulnerable. The user will attack an opponent using alternating consecutive slashes not leaving their opponent a moment of breathing room.
Fifth Form: Hope Drive - The user will temporarily be put in a dreamlike state of thought. Once awakened they’ll be void of emotion in exchange for enhanced reflexes and speed.
Eight Form: Free Fall- The user will perform a flip in the air before free falling towards their opponent to which they will plunge both swords into them.
Fourth Form: False Hope - A ranged attack performed when the user throws their sword at an opponent meant to stun them allowing the user to close the distance and deal a fatal blow.

Summary: Sky grew up in a small village in a small house. His family was a bit below middle class but that didn’t stop food from being put on the table and the family being well clothed. He had been raised with his two parents and 5 siblings where was the second oldest to the group. His dad used to be a bounty hunter, killing monsters that anyone wanted dead. Once his mother died from a sickness Sky stepped up and began slaying monsters. It wasn’t long before he was noticed for his talents and had been recruited for a swordsman academy. Micheal grew up with a pretty normal childhood. He grew up with two parents who loved him a lot, his family was above the average amount of wealth but they weren’t rich. He’d work with his family at a cleaning company before starting a job where he moved boxes. He wouldn’t do anything too special as a kid aside from playing video games and hanging out with his best friend Luna. Luna and him would essentially grow up with each other, they were family. They’d hang out everyday, sleep together, eat together and most of all play video games together. As he grew up, life would be good, he’d get good grades in school, do good in sports, make good money at work, take up martial arts, study AI sentience, and hang out with Luna every single day. He really liked her, she was everything to him.
At 15 years old they would be kidnapped by an insane man. He’d force them to play Russian Roulette. The man was obsessed with the concept of luck and wanted to test it on the two teens. They’d take turns playing the game, on the third shot Luna would be killed. He’d sit across from her helpless as she ended her own life. Everything would be a haze after that but the man would end up on the floor with a knife sticking out of his chest. He’d hold her in his arms all night before the authorities would finally arrive. Maybe there was something he could’ve done to stop it? It should have been him instead. Micheals head would be plagued with all kinds of self-deprecating thoughts as he went through the next couple of years. He wouldn’t show it and keep up his usual “cool-guy personality,” With his parents death at 17 years old Micheal would be broken once again. Everytime he’d get certain thoughts he’d think of Luna to keep going. A couple months after his parents death he’d find out about the Nervegear and the game that came along with it. A chance to be a hero in a world just like how it used to be when he and Luna were kids intrigued him. He’d manage to get his hands on one not ready for what would come next.
Virtues
Optimistic: Micheal is a naturally optimistic person. He believes that nothing is ever bad because it can always be worse. With the deaths of his parents and best friend holding onto the hope of something, anything is what keeps him alive. He doesn’t typically get sad due to his optimism.
Loyal: When Micheal finds someone he trusts he’s aligned with them to the end even if they don’t feel the same about him. He believes that you can’t truly be friends with someone unless you love them and are willing to lay down your life for the person. His loyalty often makes him trustworthy to other people.
Determined: Micheal believes that if you’re not giving it your all, you shouldn’t try. Everything could be a life and death situation in his eyes so he can’t give up and will push through any situation he encounters. Despite feeling useless the one thing he is confident in is his endurance and ability to never give up.

He’ll continue to pour all his time and energy into a lost cause despite it being obviously a waste of time. Along with having this false belief or false hope he also has unrealistic expectations of himself which sometimes causes himself to hurt himself.
Morally Grey: Despite being a good guy sometimes Micheals way of thinking isn’t always the best. Many people have called him “Messed up” for his way of viewing situations. He believes that killing is justified at times and he wouldn’t hesitate to kill or hurt anyone who truly deserved it. This is probably due to the man he had killed two years prior.

Personality: Micheal acts cocky and egotistical yet inside he’s pretty caring and lonely. When he’s working an intense case his demeanour will completely change and he’ll become serious and determined.
Lore: At a young age Micheal’s mom would walk out on him and his dad taking his little sister Rose with her leaving Micheal alone with his dad. All was well until Micheal’s dad started drinking and gambling leaving him alone at the house alone a lot of the time. Micheal ended up growing up with his childhood friend Luna who had been his neighbour next door. His dad would get killed when Micheal was 10 by Lunas father who had been a gang leader unbeknownst to his daughter. Due to his father’s debt Micheal would work for the man, collecting money from people and often hurting people to do it.
