Immediately noticing that something is off with WooPil, he gets worried and decides to intervene.
He takes the little boy from the bed and takes him out of the palace with him, to engage in activities that could cheer him up.

First they go to the market, where he buys a small sack of peas, then they head to the park, so that Woopino can feed the ducks. He remembers that his father liked ducks, in his previous life, and hopes that they can still bring him some amusement even now.
They stop on a little wooden bridge over the pond in the park, and WooPil starts to launch the peas, one by one, to the ducks.

He heard that Aventurine was taken to the Teapot for his safety and decided to go to pay him a visit, with some baked food.
Due to the portal accident, the kids are unavailable at the moment, so he leaves a tray of sandwiches on the short table there and prepared to enter the teapot like he saw Zhongli do, when he took him there the other times.
Since the situation with the portal was so sudden, they didn't even have the time to warn Dom that there would be no class today.

Thankfully, a healthy dose of drugs and having other things in his mind made him forget quickly about his encounter with HaiTien. It's spring equinox, after all, he can't miss his pagan rituals.

After quite a wild night gods know where and doing what, he returns to the city. He smells of smoke, there is lots of cider on him and something like symbol drawn with blood on his face. He didn't bother to find a stream to clean himself, it's still too cold.

He walks in the city slowly, lost in his thoughts.

Since HoShin didn't send anyone to get their belongings out of the palace yet and Elton is not a particularly honourable type, he decides to go to take a look at their stuff. He searches their baggage to kind of try to figure them out better.
In HoShin's baggage there are mostly clothes, dry herbs and other traditional medicine tools and ingredients.
In Hoon's there are just some toys and typical kid junk.
But what leaves Elton a little messed is what he finds in JinJin's backpack: lots of musical instruments, including his erhu. His mind functions in weird ways and now he can't help but kinda connect JinJin with HaoLin, after all, they have a few points in common: Kitsune, Virtues element, love for music, kind, trauma.

For now, with the excuse of handing his things back — only JinJin's, leaving the rest in the residence of the palace where they had been hosted —, Elton goes to look for where they moved to, mostly because he wanted to know the place and be able to reach it.
While he stares at the house, that is a rather small place in the outskirts of the city, he notices a bunch of nimox "migrating" towards there.
The people of Arcanis didn't really settle anywhere, despite they had been offered help to. First, when they learnt that their king was in the palace, they started to gather outside of it. Then they moved around the hospital and now, finally, they are proceeding to his new place.

The people of Arcanis are all nimox and 1 kitsune, beside king and prince. They are used to live in a more natural way, so many of them didn't even really have a proper house in their kingdom. They never had real jobs, except those who served as guards or servants for the royal family. They are mostly hunters who don't know the concepts of having a job and earning money. Even HoShin and his children are clueless about those concepts.
Despite being the king, HoShin was also the only doctor in Arcanis and he helped enough people to get their absolute respect and affection, so they'd follow him anywhere now.
Elton watches curiously as all those 50ish nimox settle around the small house, but since there is so much "audience", he decides to leave and return later. Bold of.him.to assume they'll move.

After leaving the teapot, Elton makes sure to come back with the little red pizzas he baked for the afternoon snack. He always makes it for the royal family, technically for the kids, but he makes enough for Zhongli to find some after work too.

Anyhow, Chan comes back too, carrying some of the kids' toys and clothes, since they can't know how long the children will have to be there, until they solve the matter outside.
He also gives some other snacks to Xiao, Earth stuff like chocolate bars and the sort, to make sure they won't risk to starve if they don't manage to cook anything.

And finally, Xiao is ultimately left alone with the kids in the teapot.
