[ And it's about time I posted a sheet for this silly man ]
[ This character can work in many different storylines: both ancient and modern. I've written him as a god, doctor, but in his original version he is the destructive son of a mad scientist. ]
[ The version written in this sheet is mostly for his 19th century doctor AU for my role play with @OhDarling. ]

Poe is able to summon and command swarms of locusts at will. Though, he rarely does this, and is only seen with about two or three hanging around his shoulders or neck. It is unknown whether Poe was born with this ability, or whether it was learned, though judging by his scientific background, many assume he created it himself.

The locusts he controls differ from ordinary ones — like Poe, they are enhanced, and they have incredibly strong jaws. They are a ghostly white colour; both their wings and bodies appear much sharper. And instead of feeding on crops, they feed solely on blood, perhaps flesh if they are particularly famished.

This man is verging on insanity but in a very chill and nonchalant way.

Calm, composed (mostly), and well-kept, Poe is highly introverted and dislikes being in the company of those he considers too noisy or energetic. Poe is a true neutral; his ideas of right and wrong, good and bad are warped and twisted - his moral code, or lack thereof, is a product of his personal experiences and traumas, making him a cold-blooded and selfish killer. Like his master, he's a terrible misanthrope: he seems to carry a resentment towards humanity as a whole, viewing each and every individual as a no-good parasite beneath himself. This all becomes a little intimidating when you realise he takes interest in matters regarding extinction and rebirth - as well as how he enjoys experimenting and enhancing his locusts, a way of further exuding his power.

Poe is a dangerous character — perhaps even more so than Cinna himself — and it's not only because of his bloodlust and his hoard of flesh-eating bugs. Much rather, it's because of how he covers his evil behind the façade of a sweet, well-meaning gentleman. He's strangely gentle despite his villainy, soft despite his sadism, and has a certain charm to his personality that makes him easy to trust. He has the potential to be truly nefarious if you give him too much control; it might just lead to your death.

Perseus tends not to fall in love; his brain is almost wired to view everyone as an experiment or food for his master. In the rare cases that he does fall in love, however, he loves obsessively.

Strengths: Passionate, Organized, Charismatic, Polite (unless he's, y'know, killing you. Even so, he'll make sure you receive a fine and thorough taste of death before you go.)
Flaws: Overzealous, Greedy, Surprisingly lacking in intellect if you manage to break his façade. He claims to have no time for drama but he's so very dramatic himself.
Fears: Neglect, actually. Beneath it all, he has the heart of a puppy.

Like his locusts, Poe's appearance is serene and ghostly; there is an air of eerie beauty about him. Standing at 5’11, his build is fairly slender, his skin is pale as snow, and his eyes are a profound grey, though they appear an icy blue beneath the sun. Poe has long, waist-length white hair which is often tied by a wine-red ribbon. His lashes and eyebrows are also white.

His outfits consist of lace blouses with ruffled collars, delicate black ribbons, long trench coats and pristine white gloves. Poe is often seen with high-heeled shoes that will boost his height.
In more modern settings, Poe wears a black, cropped turtle-neck without sleeves. With this he sports a long white lab coat, and his boots tend to be very thick, sturdy and, of course, never without high heels.

Darling appears perfectly human most the time (aside from her sharpened canines, which most people assume are merely part of her costume) however she is actually an Arachne: a creature half-human and half-spider. At will, she's able to transform into her true form, where she has the upper body of a female and the lower body/legs of a giant, black widow spider. For arachnophobes, she is the thing of nightmares. To only add to the horror, while in her Arachne form, Darling is able to spin webs, too: ones strong enough to trap entire humans if she so wishes to.

At first, Darling may come across aloof and perhaps even shy. She does not like to be around new, unfamiliar people and, as such, her friendship circle is small but closely-knit.
Those who are close to Darling know that she's not shy at all, but much rather just very careful and selective with who she chooses to trust. Instead of shy, she is a level-headed and introverted individual, with a love for art and a passion for dancing. Occasionally, she can be a little bossy or even harsh, and she has a strong-willed personality. Determined, decisive, and direct with her words, Darling is not as soft-hearted as she may seem.

Human Form. Darling, when not dressed up for circus acts, is fairly androgynous or tomboyish in appearance. Though her curly black hair is actually very long and reaches her hips, she always keeps it pinned up in such a way that it never appears any longer than her chin (similar to how flappers might style their hair in the 1920's). She almost never takes it down unless she's washing it or re-styling it.
Her eyes are round and wide, they are a honey-like hazel with a tinge of green. Her lips are heart-shaped and often painted red. Off-stage she dresses casual and messy, whereas on-stage she's dressed in glamorous corsets, stockings and feathery headpieces.

Arachne Form. In her Arachne form, Darling's upper body is that of a female's, as described above, whereas her lower body is that of a spider's. In this form, her eyes are completely black - both the sclera and her iris. The ends of her fingers are sharp and black, and she has a series of dark markings that cascade up her spine, along her pelvis and across her collarbone.

Desc: Once again, Silas’s sense of style is largely influenced by victorian fashion — which also makes him adore gothic elements and dark colours. One way to put it, is that he “looks as though he were stuck in the halloween section before lockdown” ( — as described by my dear friend @Delightful).

He loves long and dark robes, his favourite garment being a tall black coat with crow feathers at it’s shoulders. Silas also has a love for high-heeled boots: he wears these so often that one would think it strange to see him without them. He always keeps himself well-presented, aside from the several little scars peppered across his body from reckless behaviours. His hair is often kept untied and reaches his waist, though he will arrange it in a low bun when working on projects. His nails are neatly painted black and kept short so they don't cause him trouble when he is sewing.

Desc: Silas has plenty of class, and plenty of sass. He carries out every action politely — Even if he is to threaten or ridicule someone, he does so with a sweet and motherly smile, which leaves people in complete and utter confusion.
Despite describing him as an ESTJ, Silas is arguably an ambivert — though he loves social events, he also enjoys being by himself or having few, close companions. He’s also a very humble character: he tends to dislike arrogance or loud, boisterous personalities, for he hasn’t the energy to deal with such people.
