This isn't me in character. This is completely out of character.

A few of you may have noticed I've seemed out of sorts for a while. And you're not wrong. My mental state has been at an all time low for the first time since 2002. With the passing of my grandmother this past September, one of the only two people IRL who I just felt...would always be there, as weird as that sounds, I just...I didn't know what to feel. It took a month for it to really sink in when I would routinely wake up and....she wasn't there. I wouldn't wake up to her walker squeaking as she walked, or trying to get it through the narrow hallway leading to my bedroom, or hear her getting into things, inspecting, due to her late game dementia. The house was quiet, and I didn't like it. 

My mental state was so bad I legitimately was a foot away, literally, from walking off a stool and hanging myself, thinking I wasn't worth anything anymore, what was the point in being around? Selfish as sh*t, I know, but it's how I felt. Little do they know, my friends in real life saved me by just pulling into my driveway, oblivious to what almost went down in my house. I've...truly never fully recoverd from that low mental state though.

In my mind, and I know a lot of you will disagree, in my mind, my writing is sh*t. I'm not worth anyone's time. i'm sh*t. Why should anyone bother? The world would be better off if I wasn't here. That's where I'm at right now. i've been fighting it off and on since September, and really been at a war with it for the past month. I'm not going to do anything stupid, I'm over that. I'm trying. I really am. But I think it's time I get away.

Writing, roleplaying, it was all an escape for me. Away from all the bullsh*t in my life. To just, emerse myself in the world of Menaki Haragi, whichever version that may be and just escape this real world bullsh*t. But now, that's just becoming more of a chore to WILL myself to step out of the darkness in my head and become Menaki. 

So I think it's time Menaki took a break. It's time Menaki vanished for a while and I focus on me. Getting myself right mentally before I tackle this again. 

For those I owe things to, they will come, in time. I do apologize now, in advance for the enormous wait that it may take, but I can't, in good faith, put something out for the sake of putting it out. I'm a writer at heart, I need to put a part of me into my writings, be it on paper, or in a role-play.

So with that, at least for now....this is goodbye.

Between Neptune and Pluto, there is a lush, vibrant planet, named Pangeo, an altered namesake after the large landmass that was ancient Earth. That planet, teeming with life, forests, deserts, oceans, even a large metropolis built into the largest forest on the planet, lives a race of aliens capable of transforming into any animal known to mankind. The Animalias. Most are well meaning, good natured, and friendly. Some have even visited Earth for a time!

However, there are some who choose to stay in one form, a predatory carnivore, called the Predacians, who wish to not only rule Pangeo, but also Earth, enslaving both races to try and conquer the universe.

That's where Menaki comes in. Grandson of the Elder Animalia, Menaki was born 300 years ago, Menaki looks like any normal 26 year old human,...minus the bright purple hair. Determined to find help or figure out a way for his people to live away from the Predacians, Menaki's traveled to Earth...unfortunately...the leader of the Predacians, Rex, noticed and sent a few friends along...

The predecessor to the original Godzilla, Zilla is a miniature version of said monster, but all the attitude and fiery personality of his ancestor. Having been around Menaki since Zilla was just an egg, he has a very close bond with the man. Despite not being larger than life, if someone so much as lays a finger on Menaki in a way he deems threatening, Zilla isn't afraid to bite, scratch and set someone's clothes ablaze with embers from his mouth!

Our world has always been threatened by kaiju, giant monsters, towering over skyscrapers, destroying everything in their path. Even the "protectors" are dangerous and seen as a threat.

Now the original kaiju are gone, and their predecessors, miniature versions of their larger ancestors, kaiji's have appeared. There is a task force that has found a way to harness the untapped power of these kaiji. When fused with a human, in a process known as Kaiju Merge, the kaiji can transform into their large ancient ancestors. Not everyone can merge however. The human and kaiji must have a strong emotional and mental bond with each other. Otherwise the merge will fail. Naturally there are some who defected from the task force, choosing to use this power to rule the world, control it, rather than protect it.

That's where Menaki comes in. The grandson of the man who saw the potential in the kaiji and works tirelessly to perfect the process, Jamison Haragi, Menaki's grown into the top agent of the Kaiju Protection Task Force. It also helps that his kaiji partner is the miniature predecessor to the King of the Monsters, Godzilla!

This is just a post with a list of character, or people, if you will, that I would very much like to try an rp with. This doesn't mean I'm done with the rps I have and will NEVER rp with any of you again if some from this list come around. This also doesn't mean that anyone on my friends list has to make an account with one of these people as their playby and all that. Not by any stretch of the imagination. However, if you know of an account with the playby and character and they're open to an rp with an original character, send them my way, hmm?
