Once found HuoShi, he tries to tell Qi to let him free but the other refuses to let anyone free, just out of justice and to avoid unbalances. He tells Hudie to help to find clues instead and that's what he does.
He is looking into the ruins of the buildings, where he manages to find something strange. Part of what they threw to set fire to the place. He studies the piece carefully.

He starts looking for Cang right away but little tracks until he meets WooPil and Shangque that casually saw him and who he went with in the end.
He is not sure where Flesh lives but he is up for finding Cang, so he gets into it. He has to go to the city hall and ask Shige the number of the house. Done that, he runs there. It is day, Flesh is home to rest after serving lunch.
Hudie knocks at the door.

Eventually they manage to return to Huodong. He is feeling particularly down and doesn't yet say a word to HuoShi, but he doesn't look angry, just very sad and troubled.
He takes a long bath but his mood doesn't change. He slowly wanders the house, looking for HuoShi.

After greeting properly HuoShi before he returns home, he walks in the camp. They struggled a little to make food for everyone but with the left supplies and a bit of hunting, they gathered enough to feed soldiers.
He takes a bowl for himself and asks for another. He then heads to WooPil's tent to bring him food, not knowing Chan returned too.
He was deeply asleep when the portal happened but soldiers around are behaving strangely. SuXi is strangely troubled but he doesn't investigate.
He enters the tent quickly when he sees Ruinbringer planted on the ground.

He can't really manage to take even just a nap in the situation they are in. He is nervous, what is going to happen now, will Shige return safely, is WooPil going to hate him...and more.
He is walking in circle in front of his tent, lost in thoughts and with a permanent frown on his face.
