He knows that out there, is the place that he belongs, somewhere where he wouldn't be feared, ridiculed, used for his strengths and until he finds that place where he would be welcomed with open arms by his own kind, he will go on surviving.

Dirk is a human by all outward appearances, unfortunately, his hidden nature, his lycanthropy affliction has gotten him in more trouble than he ever wanted. He does his best to control the wolf inside him and he wants to use it to do good but sometimes, it's instincts win out and it's hunger is insatiable.

Aramir was a noble of the house of the Steward himself, his father's father's cousin was Denethor himself. Unfortunately, when the War of the Ring broke out, the Steward began to lose his hold on the city, his people were beginning to think he had lost his mind but the others in the family knew it wasn't true. The return of the King only threatened the stability of Minas Tirith, what did this ranger from the north know about the City, he hadn't cared when he left so many years ago. When Aramir's own father started to talk of heresy, Denethor losing his mind, Aramir refused to hear it. Eventually, as their fights got worse, Aramir decided that it was this returning king that had driven a wedge between him and his father. In the dark of night, Aramir set out from Minus Tirith with the intent to put an end to the heresy, to kill this Aragorn, Son of Arathorn.
