Tav
Tav Tav listened to those pained words, and their face dropped. With a held sigh he turned and gently moved his fingers up Aseria’s arm to her wrist, pulling her hand from her throat to instead wrap his own around, squeezing enough that it would make her face tingle but not much more.

It was something he had almost wished people would do to him, enact these little things that scarred his memory. So he may think back on them in fonder light, with fonder people and safer feelings.

“I’ve got you, you trust me?” He asked softly, catching her forehead on his lip, eyes closing. “You are in no danger when resting in my hands. This not even when it is here,” he squeezed a bit tighter, still refusing to cut off oxygen but enough to leave red marks for a few minutes before letting the grip subside to a lazed degree.

“Do not think of her hand but mine, think of right now when that sensation of a hand returns. Think of my voice, but a whispered tone in your ear, and my lips against your forehead. Remember me, remember this environment and it’s safety,”

He breathed, dipping his head to soft press a kiss to Aseria’s lips. An action of affection but no romance.

“I love you, Sweet Singing Sparrow,” he whispered. “May my hand being you comfort,”
Tav
Tav “Oh little sparrow,” the blind drow sighed, closing his book carefully, setting it to the side. “You are safe, for you are here with yourself, inside your own skin. Do you not know how powerful that is? How powerful you are? And even if you where to stumble in battle or misjudge- you have me to pick you up, or to hold you gently. I promise, alright?”
Tav
Tav Tav didn’t even flinch when Aseria had touched him, he had touched her long before hand. Blue mage hands guiding her towards his sitting figure, surrounded by blankets and pillows. He moved his elbows out so she could slip her arms around his waist and continued running his fingers over the bumped pages.

“What’s wrong, little sparrow. Birds should be resting at night,”

weave "Oh, my gods..." Gale sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he thought of how to handle this.

"I do appreciate the sentiment you have in taking the little creature in but, really?"
