He went through the final trial but this time, others didn't need to prove much. He admits all his crimes in front of She'er and he is given one year sentence, that will be made longer if at the end of the punishment he won't show he understands the gravity of what he did, empathy and other positive signs. Naturally no one would be able to fool She'er.

He accepts his sentence without complaints. The fact She'er already saw signs of redemption made him give a lighter sentence.
She'er allows him to meet with Cyno before he is taken to prison. Shin can spend the night in their residence. She'er trusts he would not run away, especially in Cyno's presence.
He is taken to the residence by the guards, being still slightly monitored but they wait outside.

He is very disappointed in how things are developing with Cyno. He seems different in many ways, a lot more difficult to manipulate, which troubles Shin a lot, he feels he is lacking control.
He is very angry and pretty much seeking some kind of revenge, so he decides to look for Dan Heng. He clearly didn't see their first meeting as something so bad, if he thinks the other might be willing to go for another ride with him.
He knocks at the door of his house, after making sure Johan is not around. When he opens, even if Dan Heng might try to close the door and avoid him, he makes sure he can't close and walks inside.
He makes his intentions clear right away, grabbing Dan Heng and aiming to make him submit to do what he wants with him. There is not the time to do much, as he soon feels something touching the back of his head.
''I think you have my little brother there. You'd better let him go.'' Johan says in a different tone from his usual, the kind of tone of someone not accepting any sh*t.
A fight begins there, Shin might be more powerful than Johan, but the other is damn experienced and cunning. They end up fighting in the streets, Shin having all the intentions to kill Johan but failing to. He even uses his powers, but who knows against what and where Johan sends his spells.
Eventually the chaos triggers the guards, reaching the place and arresting both of them. They are all taken to the headquarters to be questioned regarding what was going on.
Each of them is moved in a different cell for now and the atmosphere is not the most chill. ''...the moment I get out of here, I'll have both your lives stripped away...''
''Will you? Come and get me, bitch. Let's see who gives the final blow.'' Johan is triggered, still. ''Dan Heng, how are you doing in there?''

The situation is calm now. The wounded have been taken care of, She'er is out of combat and still unconscious.

Shin teleports in Cloud Recesses. Johan joins him because he really wants to see Miko. Dan Heng could have easily joined, especially because they need someone able to enter the place. Plus it was clear he couldn't be in Fengshii anymore.
Shin doesn't cross the barrier and sends She'er glances from time to time. He waits by the stairs, sitting there with Johan.

He wakes up early in the morning, intending to take care of Cyno and WooPil. Indirectly, also Chan and Aron, they can still eat leftovers.

He is in the kitchen, preparing something rather simple but still tasty. He fries some eggs and pork, then cuts some cucumbers for a simple salad and a bit of fruit. He bought some steamed buns the day before.
He is wearing the clothes Cyno gave him, plus tied his hair in a ponytail, wisps falling on his cheeks. He is focused on preparing.

Zhongli told them to return to the teapot while he goes to deal with a certain someone able to help with the situation with Martin. He told them very little, still, to not make them worried.

Shin is wandering around, trying to calm down after the fight with Tighnari. He wrapped around his wounded hand more bandages, he doesn't heal fast, his blood magic is strong but it always has a price to pay on the body. He can sense souls, manipulate them, but that will require a sacrifice from his side. He can indeed manipulate Life and Death, in the limits of a perfectly cultivated Silver Cloth Knight with a powerful weapon.

He leans against a wall, looking up.
