He went through the final trial but this time, others didn't need to prove much. He admits all his crimes in front of She'er and he is given one year sentence, that will be made longer if at the end of the punishment he won't show he understands the gravity of what he did, empathy and other positive signs. Naturally no one would be able to fool She'er.

He accepts his sentence without complaints. The fact She'er already saw signs of redemption made him give a lighter sentence.
She'er allows him to meet with Cyno before he is taken to prison. Shin can spend the night in their residence. She'er trusts he would not run away, especially in Cyno's presence.
He is taken to the residence by the guards, being still slightly monitored but they wait outside.

He is very tempted, but in a way, he realizes it is definitely not what Cyno would say. He takes a step closer to him, hugging him. "Things will get better...this is not what you really want..." He fears Cyno will regret, it is such a big decision.

He hugs Shin back and clings to him tightly. He has tears in his eyes, but doesn't make a sound that could suggest he is crying. «I don't know what I'm doing anymore… I don't know what to do…» he says in a low voice.

"You have to." He takes Cyno by shoulders. "I can't be there, someone else has to. Your fathers, your brothers, Raiden or She'er, anyone. As long as you are not alone."
