Dreizehn is part of a unit made up of clones of a criminal that are sent on suicide missions. Given the nature of their missions, the clones are programmed with very low self esteem and a desire to see their superiors pleased at the expense of themselves.
Dreizehn is the 13th of these clones and, despite the stigma behind the number, is the longest living of them all. This is what led to her being given a nickname, even if just still her number but in her original's own language.
