With this new situation, even if he wanted to have a private talk with someone, he couldn't, since he has to be within 2m from Shin at all times. All he could do would be to text with someone, but he can't think of anyone he would talk to, since ZhongLi can't use his phone.
The things that Shin told him actually hurt him even more. He was already blaming himself for what happened and those words only made it worse.
In the morning, he wakes up early and simply prepares for the day, without bothering to wake Shin up.

He reorganised the whole headquarters and intends to test all the higher ups to make sure they deserve to keep their titles and position.

He goes at the headquarters at dawn and leaves when it's already dark outside, not even taking a lunch break. He feeds on his subordinates' discomfort.
After spending the whole day at work, he finally walks out, to head back to the palace. He is also giving Shin the silent treatment after their argument, but it's not easy to tell, since he works all the time..

He visits the springs, even if by now his wounds are almost entirely healed. He doesn't like cold water, so he won't start to bathe in those freezing pools like Lan Zhan.
When he gets there, though, he notices WooPil near the waters, by himself.
The little boy is filling a small vase with the wet earth near the cold springs. Although WooPil is technically doing nothing wrong, Cyno has to agree, he doesn't find it safe for him to stay there all by himself. He could fall into the water and drown, wild animals could attack him!! So many possibilities.
He lets the child finish to fill the vase and helps him to add some water from the springs, then picks him up and starts to carry him back to the buildings area.

Chan eventually manages to find them and after getting kinda lost for a while, he also manages to lead them back to the Palace.
On the way, they even try to convince Martin to come inside, but he just says that he will join a bit later. He doesn't feel comfortable to be in ZhongLi's palace and as usual, wants to avoid his child to be too close to the Geo Archon, fearing that ZhongLi will somehow guess what his child is and see him as a threat.
Even without Martin, they go inside the palace, where Aron and Cyno can finally have a moment of rest. That is, until Jing Yuan starts to send those videos.
