He is troubled by the reappearance of Elton, but he knows he needs to be focused and avoid mistakes, since they will certainly need their help to solve the new incoming crisis.
He takes Chan with him, teleporting near the place Elton built for HaoLin. He is not certain he is there, but he feels it was still more likely than the others proposed. He also tried to think as Elton would, what would he have done after breaking free?
He waits for Chan, then starts approaching the place carefully. He is wearing his cloth just in case.

He goes to check on Blade. Haitien's trick didn't keep him asleep for long and when Qi arrives, Blade is already awake.
Qi speaks calmly and tries to offer his help, but Blade insists on the fact it is all unnecessary. Blade is covered in blood, it is not easy to tell where are his wounds exactly. Eventually Qi manages to convince him, but turns out the wounds he has are already healing on their own.
Qi bandages him a little regardless then leaves the cell.

He badly needed some rest, so he took a few hours to sleep. After getting up and leaving his house, he comes across Beryn.
"Doctor Huang. I need a private word with you." Without adding anything, he starts to walk and Qi has no choice but to follow. He feels extremely uneasy in his presence.
"What do you need to tell me?" Qi asks while they keep going. Suddenly Beryn teleports them in the middle of nowhere. "That's what you mean by private."
"For your ears only, doctor. I want to discuss with you the XinLan issue."
Qi freezes at his words. "You know...how did you...you have been spying on me?"
"He is Lianxi's problem, so he is also mine."
"He is not in his right mind...I have to understand if he can be saved."
"We need to capture him and lock him up somewhere safe...he can't endanger any more people." Beryn lowers his gaze then looks at Qi. "The House of Wolf."
"Do you know where it is?" Qi is surprised even just by the mention of it.
"I uncovered that one and another house. You just need to take XinLan."

Qi and Beryn take different paths. He needs to find a way to get to XinLan, to find him, but at the same time he is getting extremely bothered by Beryn, he is so mysterious and full of secrets. He troubles him.
He is walking in the streets to clear his mind.

He teleports in Huodong, finding a very sad scenery before his eyes. The place was clearly hit too but he hurries to reach HuoShi's home.
He definitely can't find him, it is a mess in there, but suddenly he hears a baby cry and hurries to check. He has to move some rocks but eventually finds a woman and a child, curled up. FangYi is hugging Suyi tight, they hid under a table to try to avoid being crushed and luckily that saved them but they were stuck there.
Qi is surprised to find them there, FangYi and an unknown baby, but he hurries to save them. "We will go to Lianxi now." He helps FangYi to stand up.
"I can't...take her there, but I can't leave." She always fears being caught by Xingxi. "Take her away, I have to go." She hands her to Qi.
"Wait, isn't she your baby?"
"...it's HuoShi's..."
"Do you know where he is?"
"I couldn't see but I heard a fight. I think he was taken away."

Qi returns with Suyi to Lianxi, still pondering where he might leave her for now. He decides to go quickly on Earth and leave her with the others.
He opens a portal straight in Chan's apartment, getting there with Suyi.

He didn't manage to capture XinLan, meaning many people are still in danger. He had Hudie taken away in time, but now he can't help but fear for HuoShi. XinLan's words troubled him but he is trying to not think about it. He can't help but wonder if he really took the right decision back then, though, he couldn't even predict everything that would have happened. He is trying to be objective in everything, as usual, but he has always been sensitive and he can't get rid of feelings.
He returns to the hospital to take a break and rest, also intending to warn Shige of the serious threat. He ponders XinLan's words about Lani, but is still unsure if he was just playing...he doesn't expect the other to be right there
