NAME: Ethan Midnight

\PERSONALITY\
OVERALL: Incredibly smart, but a major introvert. He cares deeply about the people around him, but can’t speak up long enough to admit it. Like his brother he’s cocky at times, but shy most of the time. Suffers from a bit of a stutter
MORALS: He creates in order to protect and better the world. He believes that there is good in every single person, just buried deep. If someone needs something, he’ll attempt to build it and shyly present it to said someone. He’s a shy kid with a big mind, and an even bigger heart.
LIKES: Building new tools, using his inventions to help others, being complimented, being noticed, Cats, and a nice warm bowl of Pho.
DISLIKES: Being yelled at, feeling useless, making others feel bad, public speaking, his stutter, and pickled beats
\BACKGROUND KNOWN\
Ethan Midnight was born into an abusive household, and his life was threatened by his father almost every breathing second. But standing over him as a protective shield was his older brother, James Midnight. Even from a young age, Ethan had a knack for tinkering. He would take apart the T.V. Remote, toy cars, cellphones, even microwaves, just to see how they worked.
One day he took apart their living room T.V., just to see how it worked. But, he didn’t have time to put it back together before his father returned home. Seeing the T.V. Apart threw him into a rage, causing quite the beating. That day was the day James decided it was time for both of them to leave.
Over the next few years, Ethan worked on perfecting his inventions to help others. He had always felt defenseless, felt he always needed to rely on his olde brother. He wanted to change that, so he built his brother machines, tools, and doohickys to assist him in his jobs.
To this day he resides with his brother, working on his crafts in hopes to make the world a better place. And to ensure he could protect his brother when the time came…

OVERALL: James gives off the aura that the only person he cares about is Number 1: himself. He has a silver tongue about him, but with even sharper teeth. He’s cocky and arrogant, but not the brightest apple in the shed. Quick to anger, and even quicker to violence.
MORALS: As stated above, he really doesn’t care about anyone or anything, or so he lets on. In truth, he cares deeply about his younger brother. His morals orbit around keeping Ethan Midnight, his brother, safe. Even if he has to throw aside everything, he’ll take the bullet for him.
LIKES: Booze (any will do), starting fights, winning, being right, pissing off authority figures, and a perfectly cooked Medium Rare steak with a side of steaming mashed potatoes.
DISLIKES: Being told what to do, losing, being wrong, not being able to bait someone, those who think they’re better than him, working with others, animatronic kids restraunts, and cilantro, bleh, tastes like soap

James grew up in an abusive household, mother a druggie, and father a raging alcoholic, emphasis on raging. James spent the first 7 years of his life just avoiding danger in the household, trying to stay out of the house as much as possible. But that all changed when his brother was born. James made it his life’s dedication to protect Ethan Midnight, his younger brother. At the age of 16, James took his 9 year old brother and ran away from home after a nasty argument that put his brother in danger. Ever since then, James had been picking up odd jobs and such to pay for rent and his little brothers passions.
One job he took, around 20, being a security guard, he encountered spirits who placed a curse upon his soul. Giving him the ability to summon and utilize pieces of bone as weapons, but with the downside of the ability to hear spirits, who, in his words, “never shut the f*** up”. The curse can only be lifted if he finds and slaughters the man who took the lives of the spirits he encountered.
As of now he jumps from job to job, attempting to maintain balance between jobs, taking care of his brother, and hunting a murderer. Which side of the scale will snap first?

OVERALL: Cole is the Strong and Silent Type. Nothing seems to shake or stir him up, but he is a kind spirit at his core. His leadership skills along with his intimidating stature has gained him respect by most, and fear by his adversaries.
MORALS: His Team comes before him, always. It’s his job to make sure they make it home safely. He’ll do what the mission requires him to do, after all, he’s just giving the order.
LIKES: It’s hard to tell if he likes anything, but he does seem to care about the teams he’s on, and has been seen enjoying the company of cats.
DISLIKES: Those who disobey orders, those who inflict pain on non-participants in war, and has been known to avoid pears.

Cole didn’t have the best childhood growing up. His mother left them when he was young, and his father took out his aggression and anger on young Cole. Though you won’t hear him complain about this, if anything he’s grateful it taught him hot to fight and defend himself. When he was old enough, he enlisted in the US army in the infantry. He surpassed his peers in all areas, strength, tests, cardio, but more importantly, strategy. His talents were not overlooked, for soon he was pulled into a special Government program designed for dealing with abnormal threats, whether it’d be Superhuman, Inhuman, Natural, Supernatural, he’s dealt with and beat them all.
To this day he lives in the city, and continues his work with the government, receiving new teams almost yearly, if not in half the time. One day he’ll leave the field and hang up his uniform, but what good will he be to the world then?

OVERALL: Sam is a very charismatic person, making friends with fellow subjects and other in the Lab, his optimism shining through most endeavors.
MORALS: The main idea is he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt, and will put his health aside to ensure that doesn’t happen. He refuses to lie about what he does/has done, even if the truth results in punishment. Some would say this is his bigger weakness, other his biggest strength
LIKES: His sibling, certain scientists, conversations, stormy nights, soothing music, animation cinema, and enjoys a bowl of Ramen
DISLIKES: Majority of lab scientists and personal, those who lie, those who steal from the defenseless, those who hurt others for their own gain, the cold, and oatmeal

Sam and his younger sibling, Henry, were orphaned when they were both quite young. Sam, only being 11 at the time, had to take care of a 5 year old, doing odd jobs throughout the years. He even volunteered to be a Test Subject for a secret organization dubbed the Lab. The benefits seemed quite amazing, and they accepted his application despite only being 13. Much to his surprise and displeasure, it was a horrible facility that pumped him full of chemicals to attempt to activate “abilities” he had hidden in his genes. Sadly, when he joined, they dragged his brother in with him. Eventually, after a long, grueling 5 years, at the age of 18, Sam was able to escape the Lab. Sam had made it all the way through the forest when he realized his brother was recaptured during the escape. He lumbered to the next town and started to make a new name for himself.
Sam now resides in the city, keeping his head low and his ear lower to the ground, listening for any opportunity to rescue his brother.

2. I don’t enjoy one liners, they’re hard to work with and enjoy, so please put in a bit of effort, add descriptions, thoughts, or anything else to give me something to work with please.
3. Minors do not interact with this account; this is 18+ only.
4. I am completely fine with have mature Roleplays, just as long as the spicy bits are not the main center of it. (This rule can change and such depending on what we’re both feeling)
5. I will try to respond to you as quickly as I can, but know I have a full time job and this is my hobby. But if I haven’t responded in about 4-5 days, give me a boop!
6. No God-Modding. One of the things that makes a great character so great is their flaws, so don’t be afraid to have ‘em.
7. If an Rp isn’t going the way you like it to or you don’t feel comfortable about something, speak up! I promise I won’t get upset or angry at you. We can work something out in the RP to help solve the issue, and even if we can’t that’s okay, I won’t be offended if you want to move on. But I won’t be able to tell anything if you don’t speak up.
8. You can give me plots too! If you don’t want to use one of my plots or like my characters and want to use your own plots, by all means go ahead and suggest it! I’m always willing to try something new.
