Backstory: Octavia Paige was the daughter of the Ava Paige, one of the leaders of WCKD who cared more about finding a cure for The Flare than her own daughter. Octavia was frequently thrown on the back burner in her mother's eyes even though she tried to do her best to be useful. But when she turned 8, it was revealed during some tests that she was one of the Immunes who could be helpful the cause of the cure. Within an instant she was forced into isolation and tested on like some lab rat while now having her name now be referred to as Briar Rose. She had to become the perfect test subject or she would be discarded which made her feel absolutely worthless. Though she never showed her emotions as she trained tirelessly over the years, becoming almost perfect in a way to the point that she was helping out with the cure personally. That was until she found out the truth of how the cure would be created and she tried to escape but was unsuccessful in her attempts. She began to purposefully fail her tests and fought those with authority. In retaliation, she was swiped of her memories of WCKD and her past before they threw her into the Glade to fend for herself. Now being in the Glade, she mostly keeps to herself and rarely talks to anyone except Teresa who she sees like family.

Backstory: Rebekah Harvelle was originally born as Rebekah De Vil who's the biological daughter of Lucifer and Lillith. She was to be kept a secret because she was an abomination of a hybrid who was technically never to be born. Lillith wasn't the best mother to her to say the least as she treated Rebekah like one of her lowlife demons while as Lucifer spoiled her like a princess and raised her to do whatever it takes to get what she wants as he taught her to use her powerful abilities to do so. She was Lucifer's Daughter for damn sure but even though Lucifer loved her, she was taken away from him by God. God knew what Lucifer had done by having her and knew that her destiny was nothing but to cause death and destruction by becoming the True Devil and Queen of Hell. So God placed young Rebekah with the Harvelle after wiping her memories of Lucifer and Lillith. The Harvelles had adopted her and tried to raise her right to be good girl and hopefully not become a hunter. She got along with Jo well and was such a good big sister to Jo as she always wanted to protect her. But when Bill Harvelle died, her good girl personality went away and she became much more cold and distant as she pursued being a hunter.
