[I really like wholesome plots :)]
Character 1 is an angel, part of a group of higher beings where every member is assigned a person in need to aid and guide them through their tough times. This person in need may be a child, an elder, or anywhere in between. There are extremely strict rules in place, as the angel cannot emotionally get close to their person. Any sort of non-platonic emotional connection is off the table. Falling in love will result in immediate expulsion from the position.
Character 2 is going through an extremely rough point in their life. This is up for the player to decide. Character 1 is soon assigned Character 2 as the person they will aid until they are no longer needed. Character 2 slowly starts to bend the rules, connecting with Character 1 on an even personal level, while also making sure their life continues to go as smoothly as possible. Overtime, the two become extremely close. Character 1 soon hits a roadblock, and comes to realize that they have feelings for Character 1 that is far more than what an angel should feel. Character 2 reciprocates, unaware of the rules set in place for the angels.
When the higher beings see that all of the work that could be done has been done, they will force the angels to wipe the memory of their person. Character 1's job is forced to end far before their work has been done, but they cannot bring themselves to wipe the memory of their beloved.

Character 1 works for a shady, mafia-esque underground business. They have spent their entire career stealing money from the rich, poor, and everyone in between. They've gotten quite a bit of blood on their fingers and they've become extremely desensitized to the work they do. Character 1 often takes advantage of different identities to keep their true identity a secret from their victims and the authorities. While on the way to America after a small trip from Europe, Character 1 receives a new task. Their bosses have tracked down a certain individual within the country who has an extremely affluent background. Of course, this group wants every cent they can get, and sends Character 1 to do their bidding. They put on a new disguise and get to work.
Character 2 had just gotten back from visiting their family. They spent a week away from home, and trusted a close friend to watch over their place. After they landed, they made a b-line straight to their pick up area, wanting to get home as soon as possible so they could get comfortable in their own space once again. Not paying attention, Character 2 bumps into Character 1, who looks completely distressed. Character 1 frantically explains their situation quicky: the airport had lost their luggage somewhere in another country. Character 2, a kind and naive person, offers Character 1 to stay at their place while they get everything situated.
Upon arrival at the stranger's home, Character 1 comes to realize that Character 2 was, in fact, extremely wealthy. Little by little, Character 1 begins to steal small amounts of money, small enough that it would seemingly be pocket change to Character 2. However, it starts to almost feel...wrong. Over time, Character 2 slowly grows suspicious, yet feels too awkward confronting Character 1 about the missing funds. Upon noticing this suspicion, Character 1 receives a simple message from their bosses.
"Kill them. Leave no evidence."

Personality: Joy often finds herself in the shadow of most of the people she encounters. She is incredibly lonely, though attempts to make connections with those around her. She is relatively soft spoken, but very attentive. She frequently lets people step over her boundaries, and hardly every speaks up for herself. She longs for a life where she can feel more comfortable in her own skin. Aside from this, she is extremely warm and welcoming to those who are kind to her. She allows anyone to open up to her if needed, but feels as though she cannot do the same.
Backstory: Joy was raised by her single father who was far too busy to spend time with her. She found out later in her life that her father had a second family that he often attended to for weeks on end, leaving Joy by herself. Even further down the line, Joy found herself marrying into a rich family, although her husband would soon remind her of her own father. Living a life where she could have anything she wanted was not enough to help her ignore the fact that her husband never truly, and would never love her as she loves him.
