At a young age Jacob was exposed to gangs and gang warfare. His mother and him lived in a small house in the “bad” side of town. Knowing he had to protect his mother, he joined a gang. In the gang he witnessed terrible things, leading him to be more in the rebellious side.
His mother worked several jobs To keep them alive, but they never had much money. Jacob was always sensitive about it, and if anyone made a “your mom” joke, they’d find a fist in their face. His father was never in the picture, and his mom never talked about him.
Jacob has never been the smartest person in the world, mostly cause he puts in zero effort at school. He tries to annoy his teachers, and usually succeeds.
Jacob isn’t heavily involved in school activities of work. He lifts weights and runs track. But the latter is only to win a scholarship for college. (His mother made him promise he’d attempt to go.)
He doesn’t work very hard in classes. He takes the bare minimum and slacks off constantly. He’s not stupid, but prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
Jacob despise popular kids and athletes, and generally stays isolated from the track team. He prefers his own group of drug dealers and poor students.

Finn was born to two alcoholics. Both hated his guts, on his 12th birthday he was kicked out of the "house"( more like a hovel), his loyal younger brother (Micheal) came with him, and the two set off to make a new life on the streets. The two worked hard to make a living, often stealing to make ends meet.
Finn loved Micheal and would do anything to save him, but at one point he couldn't. When his brother was 9, and he was 14, a royal man whipped Micheal to death for attempting to steal an apple. The whole time Finn was held back by guards, as he cried for his brother. When he was released he took a dagger and stabbed 3 guards, before escaping with his life. But Because of this ordeal , he hates royals, and made a vow to kill as many as possible.
After that bloody day, he left the market and set out to be an assassin. A guild took him in and he trained under a beautiful master. Claire was her name, and Finn was in love for the first time. Soon the two started “seeing “each other, and Finn began to think she loved him. But after three months, she revealed she had only been using him. Disgusted, Finn ran away his heart doused in coldness And anger.

Or course, many girls fall at his feet, so when a girl doesn't it not only confuses him, but is somehow more attractive. From a young age Jarons every needs were catered to. He was pampered, cuddled, loved, and fed, and it wasn’t long before he began to have a sense of entitlement. Why shouldn’t he? His father pumped nonsensical words and demands into his head at a young age, leaving the young prince lonely, confused, and sad.
Jaron never loved his father. When he was drunk, he would abuse him and his mother. When he was sober he would always tell Jaron that he had to be prince, a depressing thought. Jaron never once wanted to be king, instead he wanted to run away and become a knight. When his father heard of his plans he whippped Jaron and threw him in the dungeons for a week!
At the age of 16, Jarons mother got deathly ill. She remained this way for several years before finally dying in sleep. Jaron had never been particularly close to anyone, but his mom had always been able to understand him and his pain. When she died his father, acted as if nothing had ever happened. Ever since then, Jaron hasn’t been the same. He knows what’s morally right and wrong, but he often just submissively does what his father orders, too scared to speak up.
Although some of his views on the world are twisted, he’s not as cruel as he may seem.

When Jaron was 5 years old, his father took him to an old witch. There he told her to give him powers. The witch complied but it came at a hefty price , and more than just gold. Although the prince was “blessed” with the rare fire magic, it was often hard to control. His powers can make him weak, and act up when he is angry or passionate about something. His fire comes in one main form, a form of a demon. Jaron has a small scar on the back of his shoulder, a witch’s mark. He’s always regretted having powers, but there’s no way to reverse it.
