I write in a medievalfantasy setting, with technology loosely based around the 1200s and borrowed aesthetics from the 1700s. No, historical accuracy is not my focal point. My priority lies in what we can do with our characters in a high-stress environment. I’m a fan of pushing my characters to their limits for growth, which means we’ll be exploring some dark themes in a long and slow buildup.
Besides the politics and drama present in the plot, I love romance – the dark, forbidden, suffering kind (enemies to lovers and vice versa). I write only female leads, opposite to male love interests (mxf). If you wish to write a female character, we can simply leave the romance aside or explore themes of unrequited love, if you so wish. In terms of er/tica, I welcome both sfw and n/fw writers. Keep in mind that I prefer n/fw to be kept to a minimum if included, as I prefer focusing on the plot.
If you want high fantasy, romantic tragedies, dark themes, politics, wars, slow buildups, and a long-term story, in a 3rd POV, multi-para lit. style, I might be for you!
