- If you add, please message me first and I’ll do the same.

- I usually like literate roleplays with some psychological aspects and often involving certain triggers. I’d appreciate if you let me know if there’s anything I should avoid or if you’re more interested in something more casual.

- I find that roleplays using one-liners get really repetitive and lose my interest quickly. Other than that, I’m not picky about length. I can reply any length between a simple para to novella as long as it gives me something to work with. (I will note that for the most part, the longer and more detailed replies are, the longer I’ll stay interested)

- Please don’t pester me for replies every couple of hours, I can be pretty busy and I don't always have the time to reply every five minutes. I try to reply within a maximum of three days, if it’s been more than that than feel free to send me a reminder and I’ll get to it as soon as I can!

- I’m good with smut and nsfw content, but I won’t do a plot strictly based on that. A roleplay isn’t worth it for me unless there’s a decent story.

- I’m Canadian so my grammar and spelling is a bit different than American English on occasion (I write colour instead of color, favourite instead of favorite, etc.) Not a big deal, but I get asked about it sometimes.

- If you send me a friend request and I decline it, please don’t send me another one right away. There’s probably a reason I don’t think we’ll get along, and getting constant notifications from the same people requesting gets annoying.

BACKGROUND

Maisie was born into a middle-class home in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She was a happy, lively child with a knack for getting into trouble. She was fairly intelligent and got good grades throughout elementary and middle school despite her mischievous tendencies. Her twin brother Noah and she were inseparable since they were toddlers. While Maisie was expressive and smart, Noah was always more quiet and sensitive. She loved her family with everything in her. Growing up with two brothers definitely taught her to stand up for herself and stand her grown during arguments, this also contributed to her often stubborn personality.

At the age of fourteen, Maisie got into a car accident which broke two of her ribs and killed her twin brother, Noah. The sudden death hit her like a truck and completely destroyed any good relationship with her mother, who was driving while talking on the phone during the accident. The incident changed her perspective on life and caused her to become more reckless. She started cutting class, staying out late and doing all the things she’s ever wanted to do whether they were safe or not with the mentality that she was only going to live once. Although she maintained decent grades throughout this part of her life, they were nowhere near as good as they could have been.

Her growing close bond with her older brother Jackson saved her from the possibility of straying even further from the path she was once so focused on. He convinced her to apply to good universities where she could get herself back on track. Although her relationship with most of her family was never the same, she was slowly able to start piecing her life back together again.
